I’m looking to get another mod. I am looking for something high-end and high quality. I already have a Lavabox DNA 200, VT200, VT75 mini, Axis M-something, Lost Vape Therion, VaporFlask Classic, and a slew of lower-end ones. For a variety of reasons, I tend to carry the LavaBox and a Sigelei 213 all day. The others are just too big or too heavy or won’t do TC at my desired 120 Watts.
Right now I’m torn between the Tuglyfe DNA 200 and the Hohm Wrecker G2 - but I’m willing to listen to other suggestions.
The Tuglyfe is smaller and presumably lighter - both plusses. (If anyone owns either of these could you weigh them please?)
I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Hohm line for TC. It’s not a DNA chip, but they sound like they have excellent capabilities with TC.
Both seem extremely well made, which is critical but neither beats the other that I know of.
Both are fairly angular, which means they’re probably not as comfortable as many rounded mods, so that’s a toss-up, too.
Does anyone have any comments about either, good or bad?
Does anyone have any comments about any other high-end, high-quality TC mods?
If you are looking for an high-end mod maybe Vaporizer Nomads Boss3000 DNA200 could be something for you…
And warranty wise this is what you get:
“The Box along with all wiring connections, Varitube 510, Mitec switch and all solder points and connections come with a LIFETIME warranty. The battery is covered by a full 1 year replacement warranty, after this period expires if something happens to the battery we will replace the battery for $50.”
That device is kinda difficult to figure out, mainly due to a lack of pictures. I don’t mind shelling out the dollars for a worthy device, but it’s impossible for me to tell, from the manufacturer’s own site, if that is a worthy device.
I know the website isn’t the best one to see how the internals look and so on so maybe you could look at these reviews to get a better understanding on the device.
Yeah they are rather on the large size, but a nice house mod.
Been trying for an evo myself but there few and far between. Some have sold for like $1500 , redicoulos. Rrp is 300-450$ and for the LE version $600+.
I don’t think I’m done, because I haven’t really found the mod I want, but I ordered an Efusion Duo because it seems to have everything I want and looks like a small package. I’m not so sure it has the quality I want, but I’ll find out by this weekend.
I also ordered an SDNA 75 because @BoyHowdy loves it, and I like the looks of it a lot.
But on the higher end… I’m kind lusting after the Psyclone Evo that @Pattie recommended… Now to figure out how to get one. And the Boss 3000 recommended by @Fenrir1 might be on my list - well, if I show it to my wife it will be, since she’ll find a photo to put on it, and I know then that the Boss with the right picture will be amazing.
But I’m still looking for something that is in stock somewhere…
Thanks. The main problem is that I have no idea what mod I truly lust after. I’ll know it when I see it. Hopefully that won’t be after I plunk down $400 on one I saw a day earlier.
I went into Vaporizer Nomad’s live show today and from what i heard they will be doing a DNA250 in a near future.
Check this video out and be sure to look at it somewhere around the middle to the end for that mod with stab wood on the sides. It looked really nice if you ask me.
Besides that you will be getting good looks of the internals of the Boss3000.
Yeah, I definitely like small. I carry a LavaBox and a Sigelei 213 in my shirt pocket all day. This is not pleasant with big, heavy mods. Personally I think a 213 is perfect for size, weight, and comfort. I’d love to find a high-end DNA 133 with similar proportions.
If you want a psyclone evo you should join their fb group and try and get a vouch to get into the black market group, all the buying and selling goes on there. Mac releases them few and far between.
I have the Efusion duo, great mod. It’s in my daily rotation.
Mine has the yellow abalone panels.
