(updated) Which Youtubers do you watch currently?

Can’t really say with 100% certainty. I came in after they’d already hit the meat and potatoes of it (and the show was still live, so I couldn’t re-watch anything).

It sounded like he might still be going to release content, but the topic matter seemed uncertain.

I don’t “love” the guy, nor do I dislike him, but it still irks me that YT has a target on the topic of vaping as a whole…

It kind of felt like he might have been ‘tagged’ for not removing the links to products in previous videos (no idea if it was for text in the description, or an in video link), but I know Mike mentioned to some degree about all the time it has taken him to edit out all links from both the descriptions as well as the video content (in assuming “overlayed links”, layered on top of the video, via editing software).

He had a warning in October, a strike in December and now is on his second.

Appreciate the correction!

Noted has been of very little help to me. I purchased a list of their recommendations for caramel flavors and notta’ one worked out for me. And yes, there is a bit of arrogance there.

And then when viewers are ready to take it to the next step you can actually call it Romancing the Stone(s)

@vapingwithvic is the reason my vaperz cloud trilogy was wicked right from the very first time wicking… Yeah he’s a bit underrated in the reviewer scene. A lot of them LUV everything sent to em & that bullshit has cost me a bunch of $… I’m sure many ppl as well

Vaping bogan, grim green, Tenacious TX vapes"Stan", Etc “a bunch more But really don’t watch reviews lately”… Most of the larger ppl base But seem like now a day’s their trying to sell you something instead of just letting you know if it’s crap or not… Not them prSay but a lot of reviewers in general. Been watching Fresh 03, & lumie (I’m sure I’m chopping name’s but you get the idea) diy Of die" Wayne walker" give good advice & pretty much all mixer’s with Utube channel’s are great & give good advice.

As long as we are reviving an old thread I’ll just add a few.
DJSL VAPES is a hardcore breakdown of the gear, technical performance measurements and performance. He’s come a long way and invested heavily in his time talent and treasure to tear these devices apart and give us the brass tacks.
I used to watch Sophie Vapes for many years just because it was quietly and compently reviewed in the “inside voice” with a measure of self deprecating humor. She’s changed some things like not actually Vaping in the videos? You will have to judge for yourself but she had always been very competent in reviewing and being honest if it sucks.
These middle aged guys getting all animated and slinging the vape lingo are too hard to watch, it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard. I didn’t get into Vaping to be cool, I did it to get off ciggys. Pandering to the cool kids for manufacturers is reprehensible and part of the reason so many look down their noses at vaping, the CBD crowd and the image of hipster it evokes.

I like Jai Haze for his tantrums and when he screws up words and then makes fun of himself. Im entertained by him even though he’s stuck on affliction shirts.
Sophie, I watch her because she looks like a Disney Princess and has a husky voice and really a surprising amount of knowledge.
Mike Vapes is get in, get out, nuts and bolts.
Wayne helps with a lot of my beginner issues, often overstating the obvious, also says a lot of what I’m thinking when he discusses vape issues.
Liked Rip Trippers early on but he became a little too pay to play Peewee Herman for me. Much respect for what he built, but no longer my cup of tea.
And Vic, yes, its calm and informative, and his accent reminds me if my Grandparents.

I like Jai because he makes me feel better about myself LOL
Actually, if for entertainment only, he’s pretty hilarious. A bit too quick to trash anything “beneath” him.
I agree with you about Vic. He is rather soothing to listen to. Tony B is the same way.
Mike Vapes is OK, DJLSB is good as well but enough with the damn pods already.
Rip…I’ve had more than enough of him. sayonara suckah!

I watch 3 of them for gear reviews:
DJLsb, Phil Busardo, and Vapin with Vic.
There are a ton of other reviewers, but the are all less in depth, and a bit too much like cheerleaders.

For mixing shows I watch some of the DIY or DIE episodes, but find that most are too long and off topic. I also don’t care for Wayne pushing his politics on me. I really like Mixin Vixins, and catch most of their shows. The long form live shows just bore me. ("Hey there Mixin Man, What’s up Cloud Bro, Chucker Chick is in the house!, Don’t forget to buy into Superchat.)

Forgot to mention “Noted”. An excellent show, even when I have no interest in the flavor of the week. And the person who puts a time stamp comment after almost every single episode is a Godsend. I actually would give that person a donation.

Really like Kzor from SA, Flat Cap Vaper, Legion Vapes, Vic, Mad Viking Reviews to name a few. New guy called Hunky Vape runs a good advocacy show weekly. I do miss many of the reviewers from the older days that aren’t reviewing anymore. You all have noticed the drastic reduction in North American reviews lately I’m sure…who wants to review nothing but pods?

I’m totally in agreement with you mate, half of these shows are just constant shouting out to people in chat or shouting at each other and the rest is mostly off topic with only a small percentage of information that is actually beneficial for learning about flavours and mixing. This is why I enjoy the Noted show so much because it stays mostly on topic and doesn’t give me a headache to watch although I miss old Cheeba. I’ve been enjoying that new show by Daytimefrank with just him on his own talking about flavours which I find very usefuly. Rugly is good too with his simple style recipes for beginners. Vaping With Vic is one of my favourite reviewers and I often refer to him for wicking techniques. I also enjoy watching Mike Vapes and the more seasoned Armed Vapour with his relaxing and knowledgeable reviews and tutorials. I just can’t be doing with all of the noise and immaturity that a large proportion of these mixing shows contain these days, I’m there to learn after all.

I suffer with P.T.S.D. and I think that is the main reason behind why I can’t stand all of the noisy shouting and balling in some of these shows and why I much prefer the quieter ones. I feel comfortable enough here to share this info with you guys as I didn’t want to come across as a miserable old codger that doesn’t have a sense of humour :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Another good show that I liked but is sadly no more was FogVlog from S.Africa where they would discuss flavours and recipes, I learned a thing or two from those guys when I first started mixing.

I remember that show! Watched plenty of their episodes. People should search out their shows on the tube, lots of great information.

Daytimefrank is a new discovery for me. Its pretty basic but I’m enjoying him. Thanks for the recommendation.
