Sucrose. Stevia is natural made from the leaf of the Stevia plant. Some people notice a slight bitter taste from Stevia. I don’t. Little goes a long way.
my walmart has it in stock, i will get a bottle thursday. thanx
Walmart will have two forms. A flake dry form and a liquid. Get the liquid. Should be a blue/purple 53ml Pyure bottle. Should be $5.50-$6.00.
do this stuff accent or replace SS ? my understanding until now was that it is a “edge rounder”
Total replacement. Start at a lower percentage than a recipe calls for. By about 1/2. To me it’s sweeter than SS. You can add more if you need it.
I’ve used Pyure and personally don’t care for it, too artificial (Saccharin taste) for Me.
I use Super Sweet at 0.5% in a lot of my mixes and have no problems whatsoever with coils gunking, my other go-to is Sweetness FLV, depending on the recipe.
Hope everything is ok mate, sorry to hear you have had troubles.
I have problems tasting banana whatever I do, I think it’s just too subtle a flavour for my palate. Still working on finding a recipe with banana that I like but I do keep trying. I don’t use em or sweeteners, just marshmallow of meringue to sweeten things.
I don’t have either marshmallow or merrenge, merringue… fuckin…
But the honey I have sweetens enough to yeah: you can easily make it TOO sweet just with sweet-flavours with a few too many drops - lick-taste the liquid and it’s nowhere not even as sweet as the glycerine was on it’s own with all the bitter PG, yet it vapes like it’s got sweetener in it.
Why I added Raw Sugar and Red Date to the next lot: they’ll give me some flexibility in sweet notes.
ok, i am a bit confused. EM is an edge rounder and a sweetener. but SS is not an edge rounder even though its a sweetener ?
Hehe, don’t worry @jinx_d it IS confusing.
You are correct. EM can be used to sweeten, but at low-mid, mid, and high levels it mutes flavors (and rough edges), whereas Suc is just a sweetener.
thanx
just to be sure, this is the correct stuff ?
I believe it is.
@Guido_Possum, you might want to pick some up, as they are both DIY standards.
I think I’ve got the raw sugar somewhere, but you DID get my attention with the red date.
this is it. using sparingly…start low and build up.
maybe i missed it. but what is that Meringue used for ? i have FA
It is used to sweeten mixes, and can absolutely bring milk to cereal recipes.
those reviews are all over the place.
LOL, yes they are @jinx_d. I’m pretty sure that is probably one of the oldest, maybe most used flavors (real flavors, not sweeteners, etc.) in the database. Some people may even not like it, but to me, it’s a staple and must have, soo many uses. Sweetening, and adding milks to cereals would be the most literal uses.
