they probably would not even stop at the vendors ? or at least accept paackages from them. now, if they had an address that was not known to be vape related, sure. or they could just take the packages to the PO.
BUT, what if there is a massive penalty if caught mailing vapes.
btw. we are not alone on this. there are tobaacco companies, not BT, thaat are pissed about this.
Thx. It seems that most vendors ship from warehouses. That’s how I’ve been seeing it anyway. Some even state that their product will ship from a warehouse in such and such state. I’m sure they share warehouses with other companies. Vendors don’t typically run big businesses with their own warehouses.
i was/am thinking that most of them have a store they run and ship from.
maybe i should open a vape shop in my garage. i could order wholesale on a pallet, preprint labels and drop them at the P/O. but then, what if there are nosy “save the world” postal workers that open the pachages and then the cops are at my house.
From what I’ve heard (and it’s all over the map, so grain of salt may be needed) anyone selling anything vape related must register with the feds, They can’t ship using usps (and of course all other shipping/delivery services have jumped on that wagon) and failure to do any of the above will result in big fines (per occurance) and likely jail time. I don’t know if vendors will risk not complying with those threats looming over their heads. I think China may get away with it for a while but I have a feeling that too, will be impacted eventually. I heard that there will be some more info in early to mid March detailing the whole mess, so we’ll have to see. Sorry I don’t have links. I was just trying to gather some info around the web.
But if you need a pack of smokes or a tin of skoal…well, that shouldn’t be a problem at all.
I’m sure most of the hobbyists and those that frequent the various forums and youtube have a clear understanding of what’s going on and taking appropriate measures. The the vast majority of regular vapers probably aren’t aware of what’s going on (and probably won’t until the online retailers get their asses into gear and let their online customers know the gravity of the situation)
I get emails from about 30 odd companies. Only District5 and Armageddon Mods have warned about the ban. No mention from big players like Element or VaporDNA etc… Not good enough!
Some have stores they run and maybe ship from. Stocking inventory for a national/international customer base needs to be pretty darn big. Idk of any vape shops equipped with a warehouse. But yes, I’ve seen a small handful of B&Ms that sell online.
Thank you, Lostmarbles. That’s the most information I’ve heard yet. If the Feds want to ban the shipping of vape products then it would follow that any private company willing to ship would/could be cited. If the purchasing of vape products remains legal at all I suppose purchases will have to be made in house. Does that mean we’ll see a vape shop on every corner?
I thought I heard April but don’t quote me on that. Where is this whole thing going anyway? What are they going to do with all of us who already vape and own tons of gear? Restrict us to vaping in the privacy of our own homes or behind closed doors or after sundown when no one can see us? This is absolutely deranged! People walk around in public blowing joints and I can’t vape?
The election showed us everything… the gov. gives a fuck about nobody but themselves… I spent a couple hours looking over tht 5000+ page bill & there’s all kinds of fucked up shit in there…, a lot of it was really questionable as to what was meant…, but everything tht I read about e-cigs or vaping, they were all(everything) falls under the PACT act…
Yes i used it a lot when i first started mixing years ago… I always nixed it with a custard and lotta latte. Almost exactly like the stacked recipe. I really need to try and clone it… Its really not an intricate flavor profile. I think its made with all TFA flavors.
& @muth about your Q, well there’s a reason ppl ship drugs & other illegal things via USPS, that reasoning being that USPS is the ONLY shipping entity that legally cannot open your packages without legal authorization in the form of a warrant. Unfortunately with a vape ban, that ban policy would probably override the needs for warrants in certain circumstances, like when they see packages from registered vape companies/ addresses etc. All of us sending each other stuff will be okay. Hopefully the already inundated USPS won’t have a lot of time to police packages, especially considering that MANY USPS workers are drug dealers without even realizing lol.
USPS will be announcing more details in about 1.5ish weeks so that should give us all a lot more clarity, hopefully lol
