Got it at 8:00AM this morning.
OK, started at 8:15 this morning and exclusively vaped (today you could probably say chain vaped) till 4:35 this afternoon and the battery indicator started blinking. So I’d say the norm is probably 8-10 hours depending on coil build, and of course the way you vape on it. Guess I want a 150 watt now! Did you see what you are truly getting in the way of charge time? I hope not 3-4 hours like you thought earlier…
It varies from 4-8 hours I guess - not totally sure, but that is what I’m guessing right now. I want a TC100W with a big battery!
The more I think about it the more I think I do not want a temp control unit that you can not change out batteries. I see having to have a minimum of 2 units else wise. Maybe the Snow Wolf might be worth the money being you can put 2 18650s in it. I think I’ll keep my eye on the IPVs and others also. I like the direction I’m going but I want to step back and hear what is said of the available equipment with TC at this point. My 2nd unit I’m hopeing will be more suited for me, especially when it comes to charge time…
Yeah, I ordered an IPV4S so see what all the fuzz is about Still didn’t get my eVic VT - it’s still in the hands of Danish Customs
I AM GOING TO SEND MINE BACK ALSO I AM GETTING THAT TASTE NOW!! I AGREE WITH YOU 100% I WILL GO BACK
I’m with you there. Seems like you’d kinda be over a barrel if your batteries took a dump.
By all means, please let us know your thoughts on it after you get to use it for a couple weeks…
Boy, hope I’m not gonna get screwed, I was emailed a tracking number from the shipper and when I plugged in the number to track it it came back NOT FOUND. Usually there is at least a Pickup Notice. Scheduled delivery is tomorrow…
Nah, it’s prob the fact that it’s just not been scanned by the ship company just yet. I’ve seen this as well. No worries!
You don’t have to wait weeks to find out about the IPV4s. I own several tc mods and this is the best hands down. I knew that right after the update. The range on this mod is unmatched by any currently on the market. It fires down to .05… it heats to 100 joules. 120 Watts on board power is more than enough to power any build I ever made. It reads all resistance wires. It reads your wire and adjust to temp in less than 1/4 second… no air hits. It performs flawlessly and there are plenty here that can cosign what I just said.
You can take it from me or you can wait a few weeks and @daath can repeat it to you. It all works beautifully
I totally trust your opinion. There are other things I would like to know about the IPV4s that I should look into myself. Number of batteries, which of my vendors carry it, how much, the usual. What about the Snow wolf? Sounds like you’re into the IPV4s more…
Besides the issue with the display on my first one there are no other issues. When you crank it up high it will eat up a battery. But normal use battery life is average. IPV4\s is better on batteries. A plus for Snow Wolf is it fires down to .05 in Wattage and TC mode. The Snow Wolf doesn’t do joules but goes up to 662 degrees vs the IPV4 572 and you can multiply that when using Ti. Also it senses the wire type and set the resistance itself. It read the wire really fast so there is no delay when firing. It’s a really good tc mod but for me the Ti feature and 100 joules push the IPV4 over the top for me. Either way they are #1 and #2 in my book.
I have every intention of using Ti from here on. Probably noticed I just ordered some. Hmmm, you pretty much talked me into the IPV4s. Now to do some looking around at prices…
If I didn’t own the Upgraded IPV4, I would get the 4s. I’ve been looking at the IPV3Li… It’s pretty much run like the 4s only more power. I’m just looking for a reason to get it.
I actually have a IPV4 black/black and the IPV4S black/black. They. Are. Awesome! Temp control is very nice and since I have switched to using strictly titanium wire in my goblin v2 for the IPV4S (dual 28 gauge, 6 wrap-spaced coils, 2.4mm inner diameter, temp setting on 335F - I could chain vape 30ml and never get a dry hit on this thing). I have 200ft of nickel and have yet to try a build lol.
@ringling just another option for your titanium wire needs (they carry every gauge ). Put an order in and had it in 3 days time.
Really glad yours is ok.they are sending me a new one as even without the o ring they thought made a bad taste.it still tasted bad.because it’s like a dripper tilting it on its side was why it leaks .I hope my next one works ok there’s a lot of hyp about this tank.they did say to me a few other people were having the same problem as me hope they have sorted it
Nice, thank you. It’s nice that they have more than one guage, had no choices on Ebay…
