Vape Mail 2021

Ah thanks so much @SessionDrummer I’ll order now. Mind answering questions once I get it if I need help?

@Kamara, I think I know what you are asking, but not 100% sure. OK, if you’ve got your NIC already broken down, and in the freezer, there is NO NEED to thaw. You can easily take each bottle out, uncap, squirt 1-2 seconds of Argon into the top of the bottle, then re-cap, and put directly back in the freezer.

I linked above to the brand I use, because SOME, have other inert gasses, and are NOT heavier than air, which defeats the purpose. the Art Argon above, will work, and is easy to use. Just squirt maybe 2 seconds worth into the bottle, it’s that simple.

All you are doing, is DISPLACING any/all air in the top of the bottle. Argon is heavier than air, so once you squirt it into the bottle, it forms a blanket over your NIC, the air is displaced. You re-cap the bottles, and the Argon just sits in there, along for the ride. Because you are keeping in the freezer, you won’t have any heat, or light to worry about, so using Argon eliminates the air, and you now have the BEST long term NIC storage solution going.

Sure, but it’s beyond simple. The can will feel empty, don’t worry about it. Break off the white tab on top (it literally says break tab off), then do a test squeeze to make sure gas is coming out.

Open each of your bottles, squirt 2 seconds of gas into the bottle, re-cap, re-freeze, and repeat. It’s literally that simple.

Woohoo. Thanks so very much!! Ordered placed, due to arrive March 1st. That is definitely easy enough to do :joy:

@Kamara, on a side note, one thing you should avoid if you can, is repeated Freeze/Thaw cycles on your NIC as that can impact it as well. Just toss them in the deep freeze, and take one out when you need one.

I use the same one that @SessionDrummer & @fidalgo_vapes use! It’s the only 100% Argon spray I could find on Amazon; most other wine preservers I found use Argon & Nitrogen. Argon & Nitrogen together technically should work just fine but I didn’t want Nitrogen in my nic as I’d read reports of Nitrogen turning nic a pinkish reddish hue.

It’s really easy to use, I just spray for a second or two into the bottle. Only tip I have is to be really careful to not spray the product directly at the liquid or else it’ll spray it everywhere lol. Took me a few times to get my process down perfectly but basically now I fill my bottle to the shoulder (as your bottles seem to be in your fridge pic), then I hold the cap close to the top of the bottle where it screws on & insert the thin argon spray straw (like WD40) into the bottle underneath the cap, basically so that even if I do spray the nic liquid most of it will just hit the cap I’m holding against the bottle. Then I just spray the argon at the inner side of the bottle (like aiming down toward the glass instead of directly into the nic liquid) for about solid second or just under, pull the straw out then close the cap & tighten down.

Sorry for butting in but hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes I had to do it once. Normally I break them down when I get a bottle but I forgot once and just stuck it in freezer so I had to thaw and split. It was only 120ml so I wasn’t too worried in thawing (to me it’s a learning process based on experience). Now that I bought a gallon and split up, shitz getting real . I post pics cause I welcome feedback even on devices. People start asking questions that I haven’t thought/read about so I greatly appreciate everyone’s input. Hell never know you’re doing something where there is a better option unless you post.

No, don’t apologize Bc I would’ve done what you described not thinking nic would/could splatter out. My only saving grace would be mine will be frozen by the time I get my argon. But others reading this never would’ve known, so thank you!!

Yes exactly. I noticed when I’ve pulled mine out it’s not frozen. Sorry poor choice of words

Topped the foxy with a jk mini I already had built and was in use on a cs120 to compare. Very pleased to say it hits as fast and nearly as hard as the cs at the same wattage. Comfortable in hand and a bit lighter than the cs, bright simple screen, love the c frame design. Only con is it is only adjustable by 1w increments so maybe not for a mtl vaper. I’ll build a matchy topper when/if the house & my hands warm up. 2° here this morning.

Thanks for the rundown. 1w increments is fine by me. Less waiting. The more I see it, the more I like it. Hope you warm up quick!

I also seal the lids with plastic wrap but great job! A lot of people suggest argon gas which is fine. I personally think it’s overkill but it doesn’t hurt.

I haven’t been getting much vape mail. I have a couple of RDAs coming today though. Here’s some photos I haven’t posted yet:

I got pumped for the Kriemheld tank and RBA. I’ve been using old factory coil housings and rebuilding them. The RBA for this tank is the same concept only made way easier.

From Ev Cigs today:

Got that Matte Gunmetal y’all.

Heard some good things about the Mongrel. Might try it out tonight.

Great flavor from the Mongrel but not the best for dripping. Recommend hooking up to your favorite squonker. Awaiting a Nightmare 28 and some xtra AFC rings for my RDA for Vaping from EV - have never used them before but shipping was reasonable at $23 to NZ
