It is a clone I guess of the 24mm "Pulse 24 BF Styled RDA " , it was only $8.87. TBH the top cap is so thin you can flex it between two fingers, I don’t think there is enough steel to sand the paint off without messing with the spec tolerances (well maybe not that bad but it is thin like tin). Surprisingly it vapes really well, threw two SS316 spaced coils on it @.15ohms & 80’ish watts is a real flavorful vape. It does however whistle fully open so I close off one hole and it is a restrictive DL. Other thing is that the post screws are shrouded by the deck, and are hex slugs, with a postless deck, it is a bitch to get them in there correctly. (I would have bought the original if they had had one, was just adding to my order to get to a round gift card amount)
The only Pulse RDA I don’t have is the Pulse X. Otherwise I think I have at least one of every other kind.
Wet Vapes had Pulse BF kits on sale for $20 all year. It’s got those mech mods that have a noticeable voltage sag. I think all the kits came with a black Pulse 24mm RDAs. I have two of them and both came with matte black Pulse 24s.
I think those might have been the original Pulse RDAs. Then they made a 22mm single coil version. Then they made one called the Pulse X I think? The last one might be the Pulse 2 RDA. I wouldn’t be surprised if I got something wrong or for it about one of them.

Yep those are the ones that they put in the Pulse BF kits. I think they were all black and the drip tip matched the panels you chose.
Does that design remind you of anything sort of current and popular? Like an RDA for vaping that gets all kind of praise for excellent flavor?

I have the 22mm, 24mm and the Pulse V2. I love the Pulse 2 with the pei air flow rings. I think the flavor is outstanding, but the rings are really fragile and easy to break. Went thru a couple of those rings on my first one, then bought another complete RDA before I found you could buy the rings individually. I’m very gentle with them now that I think the parts are no longer available.
Do you use dual or single coil? I tried a single coil a long time ago and liked my Drop Solo better. It’s been a long time since I’ve used it though.
Have you seen the new Requiem kits? I heard they’re on pre order at a few places.
That’s funny. I didn’t take to the Drop Solo. I much more prefer the P2 in single coil mode with the honeycomb airflow. I haven’t heard of the Requiem, but I’m going to check it out for sure.
Yeah they just released the Requiem RDA less than a year ago. The kits get a squonk mod and new version of that RDA.
A friend of mine told me that he just got a new honeycomb insert for his Mongrel. He said that it’s even better with it, like noticeably better. I didn’t even know about them. I googled it and sure enough 3f vape has them for cheap. I ordered one for me and another for a friend of mine on the VU. Now the waiting game. I’m pretty confident that they won’t be messed with at customs. knocks wood they’re just small pieces of metal that could be anything.

Yeah, never really got the drop solo as well, I preferred the original Drop with a big single coil over it.
@INOIROC I do have the honeycomb insert and felt that was the best for the Mongrel. I was supposed to review it but then life got in the way. Good job on ordering that 
actually, a good price, otherwise i would pass, for now. i was interested in SM because of reports of fast shipping. but, slow is better than not at all.
