VaporWhale: Beware of the BS

trust me, brother, no one is looking at you like you’re a bitch (at least i hope not), we want this kind of info. You are taking care of us by reporting this to us and warning us. No one on this forum wants to be treated this way.

Dear customers,
we’re not vendor that holding your money for orders not yet shipped, we will refund if it’s not yet shipped fore sure because that will save time of you can us and we may have happy returning customers, we know clearly for that, but orders with tracking numbers are all shipped(the tracking number is provided only when warehouse packed and shipped to carrier or carrier pick them up from us), I know that it’s hard to believe in the situation of tracking number not updated with route records because we are not yet so big so we don’t have picture on every shipment package slip, but we ensure it’s truth, we can provide screenshot of our ERP shipping records.
We know we have to improve our shipping and customer service, we are here to hear.

Best Regards,
David

It’s just strange to me for a shipping service to have “pre” anything as a status for over a week if they have received the actual package from a vendor. There would be no reason for tracking to begin with.

My order also showed as in stock so i was not expecting any kind of delay. If it said stock due 13/07 i would still have ordered and accepted the extra wait.
Being on a low-ish income i generally have around £40 per month to spend on supplies (flavours, vape gear etc) This order may not be for a massive amount of money but to me it’s half of my monthly budget.

Can you confirm that you have now received stock?

Thank you brother. I appreciate it.

Agreed, if tracking isnt provided until carrier has it in thwir possession for transport, there should not be any “pre” status only on that tracking, it should already say recieved at origin or whatever, because like the definition
Anonymiss shared-
"
“item is pre-advised”
It means shipper has already printed shipping label, but parcel has not been received by courier yet."

That right there tells me they have been lying to you about having already shipped it. Weeks of contacting to even get a tracking number, then after over 8 days still no update on it. Sorry not sorry @VaporWhale.com but you guys have just really dropped the ball way too much to be a trusted vendor here, I think.

Exactly. I have seen vendors (not just vape companies) make “pre shipment labels” thru fedex, usps etc and I would get a track #…then a few days later get another email with a totally different tracking # for that package showing it is actually in transit. So I know the practice is done. Sucks.

But the key part of that is “a few days later” they do it on their own. Not weeks or months of contact to even get a tracking # that doesnt even track a supposedly shipped item anyway. Then more excuses and claims it is lost in transit possibly etc… Never ever have i seen such fail business online, unless its some scammer trying to get me to send stuff to some PO box in Nigeria.

Just remember…if the shipping company didn’t scan it’s not going to be tracked. This does happpen when scans get missed.

Question for @VaporWhale.com When was the package supposed to have an origin scan (yes technical term), and when should the next scan occur? 3 days after or 4?

The carrier took the package to Netherlands then forward to destinations from there, and plus it’s postage service, making them update the moving route record since “pre-adviced”.

I’ve seen other locations (such as FastTec) use simular things, orders stating they were preprocessed or some such thing (maybe Amazon also). I’ve actually seen a couple locations that stated it was still in pre- shipment and had it on my doorstep before the sites system even changed to being sent.

Dear friend,
the Ultimo is the latest atomizer of Joyetech that released this month, the estimated in-stock date is July 25, we have updated the notice, sorry for inconvenience!

This is normal especially it’s postage service, not update frequently as express service like DHL.

We can ensure that the tracking number is generated and provided to customers only when the package has left our warehouse, but we don’t know when will the carrier scan the shipment, for practice, normally 7 days to show up the moving route record since the first pre-adviced record.

You know what might help is to ask your shipping company to start doing an origin scan. If it is possible. That way your customers feel more secure their product has left the facility and is on its way. Maybe this isn’t possible…not sure.

Granted…maybe origin scan is lost in translation. But it should be the first scan at the start of the shipping process…by the company who puts the package on its first leg of its journey from your hands. This scan occur at the point the truck driver recieves the item or first scan at their building.

I only point this out from my 8.5 years handling and watching 120k package processed in 3 hours. Lots of scans…lots of beeps, and a few misloaded packages.

But the age old saying going around my part of the woods. Buy home made first (USA) or buy from a distributor that is local/within your country.

I think the biggest ongoing issue they have is with their inventory… they need to stop marking things as in stock when they dont actually have them in stock, they have repeatedly marked items in-stock when they thought they would be in-stock soon and it creates extra frustration and mistrust right away when customers see the order for an in stock item sitting there for weeks and not being processed and then being told when they complain oh its not in-stock we are waiting on the factory still we expected it to be in on such and such a date.
