I agree it is surprisingly realistic with rind and all. I guess I used it too high at 1.5% that was a stand alone btw… Thank you I hope to rescue this flavor it smells better in a mix but I believe I may have had it a touch higher in a few as well idk but will jot those figures down.

Yea, I cant seem to get FA watermelon down, its weird. I just ordered the INW so you will have to let me know. I got LA as well, the only one I don’t have is MF and Delosi, I really hope one of the ones I already have is it.

Apparently after a ton more reading a lot of folks like the Delosi and MF is where it’s at. But I’m gonna get working at it. I almost tested one of my wa’wa mixes and decided to hold of until the end of this coming week. But I’m vaping a variation of the cactus water recipie from here. Still gathering my thoughts since I’m only 2mls in, but it is pleasant.

I just use Watermelon clear (TPA),
I am so new I really cannot comment in any way except to say that I have been trying for sweet watermelon recipe ever since I began to DIY which was just two months ago. My best recipe was nothing to write home about and is still sitting there waiting for me to rescue it or dump it down the drain. I’ve tried a bunch of different flavors but not all of them yet. I was going for more of a jolly rancher watermelon than a fresh watermelon, though. My theory is that as a new ex-smoker I really wanted a really strong and really sweet flavor and that is what I still desire. So, if any of you can come up with a good watermelon recipe I would certainly love it. I can give you a recipe that does not work. For me, anyway.

Well, I just ended up going to nicotine river and getting their watermelon (Delosi). Hopefully its good! I also got lemon, mango, blueberry, cotton candy, and another I think from Delosi.
Aside from MedicineFlower, I will soon have every watermelon.
At least the ones that don’t have Acetoin…

I haven’t tried all the watermelons there are but I’m getting some really good results using:

in a 1:1 ratio. I seem to like the strength at 3%ea to 4%ea.
Add a little pyure stevia and it’s awesome!
@Exluvah, try this for a jolly rancher watermelon… (1:2 ratio, heavy CAP)
4% Sweet Watermelon CAP
2% Red Summer (Watermelon) FA
2% Pyure Stevia
1% - 2% Oba Oba FA
If that doesn’t cure a sweet tooth, I’m not sure what will… 
EDIT: If you want to turn that into “watermelon bubblicious”, add 4% - 6% Cantaloupe CAP

It may just be one of those flavors that doesn’t agree with your taste palate.
…like me and CAP’s VC1 or VC2; The overwhelming majority of mixers here on ELR love the stuff but I can’t stand it. CAP VC tastes like the "ass"fault on pit row at a NASCAR event to me… VC2 is even worse… tastes like baby vomit…
To me, watermelon FA tastes like eating fresh watermelon in the field right after picking it. Right on the edge of being ripe (the sugars haven’t fully developed and there’s a hint of white rind). This is why it works so well with CAP’s version which is more of a candy flavor. They balance each other very well. That’s just my experience though…

Well that is not working at all but just getting going to drop the sweet strawberry .I used organic strawberry but got some LA coming along with cap and TFA marshmallow .
I have always liked strawberry in any thing and been playing with watermelon good little bit. earlier this week added 2.5 mils of 8% double watermelon mix too a cutwood unicorn clone 7.5 mil boy at first bad really bad pop my rta off and grabbed another one .next day I was away from home low on juice only thing in my vape bag was that bad stuff well being desperate tried it and from a juice that was not usable to pretty good I can see a watermelon adventure starting out again for me .

I’ve tried most of the watermelons on the market.
Here’s what I’ve found:
FA Watermelon at 5%: Unlike the rest of FA, you gotta use a high %. It’s a natural tasting watermelon, with a good amount of sweetness. It’s nice, I wouldn’t say it’s bland, but it’s not a main flavor.
MF Watermelon at 0.5%: Doesn’t live up to the hype. Incredibly aromatic, natural tasting, but somewhat bland. Vapes like FA Watermelon, but less sweet. Not sure why it has a large following.
TFA Watermelon 6%: Tastes very synthetic, and is more on the watermelon artificial gum flavor. Can’t say I’m a fan.
CAP Double Watermelon 5%: A little bit more sweet and sour balanced than the rest. Kinda of like a middle ground between natural and artificial. Not bad overall. Packs a punch better than the rest of the watermelons.
CAP Sweet Watermelon __%: I have not tried this watermelon, but I called Customer Service at CAP, and they explained to me that Sweet Watermelon was more of a Candy Watermelon vs. their Double Watermelon.
I gotta say most of these flavors are hard to use as a up front in your face flavor option. I still haven’t found the perfect Watermelon… but I’ll keep trying them out.

Hey nice flavor points ! I have found only recently that the only way I can get a decent rounded flavor from MF watermelon is to blend it with another watermelon and mostly I have come to the conclusion that TFA watermelon at around 1% has the smell strong enough to cover that disgusting nail polish smell I get from MF’s watermelon and when the two are combined at least I get the aroma from the TFA ( at small doses it still gags me at higher ones ) and then I get the MF watermelon’s rind taste after it steeps…I have to use MF’s around 1-2 drops per 10 mls and then let it steep for a while around 3-4 weeks.
I like LA Clear watermelon it’s a viable option to off set the stinky MF watermelon and I may try working with it as a combination of the two but it too is candy like and is a sweeter one so it’s hopeful.
Guess I am saying try to blend a few of them to your desired taste. I also took notice you did not mention Nicotine labs / Delosi Watermelon which is the best watermelon imho.

Personally I’ve been testing TPA watermelon, LA clear and LA with the coloring. Yea I know I shouldn’t be using the LA with the food coloring but to me it has a different and better taste.

I just tried TFA and it worked really well with my LA Melon in a Mix with Menthol.

To be honest I am really liking the combination of FA and INW watermelon together. I’m also finding its balancing really well with other flavors.
I’m not even sure what mix I’m vaping right now. But it’s cactus orange + more orange and watermelon
