So not able to post due to some sort of consent thing going on with YT link.
Not sure why this damn thing has been bopping around the old noodle, but if I post it here maybe it will move on to greener pastures…
Haven’t heard this in years. I grew up in the Chicago area and would sneak into the bars to see and hear the music in the area. I became a fan of a writer and proformer by the name of Steve Goodman. He got ill in short career moved to California and became a music writer and wrote this with Axon.
Steve Goodman began his career as a folk artest. He was a great proformer songwriter on his own. Early in his career he wrote this. It was recorded later by Arlo Guthrie.
Nice … I saw Pink Floyd and Jethro Tull as well…great music right there!
Thank you, I think this song was written for me because I worked my fingers to the bone. You’ll never see me do right handchecks
I enjoy Supertramp’s music and REALLY enjoy Roger Hodgson. Amazing the songs he started to write at such a young age. I have been bummed about the feud for years because without Roger Hodgson, it doesn’t feel like Supertramp. I’ve adjusted to Styx without Dennis DeYoung, but haven’t been able to do that with Supertramp.
i didn’t/don’t know about any feud with them. but yeah, they are not them without him.
its like Alice in Chains, after Layne Staley died, they would never be the same.
i saw AiC in 2016 at Solder Field, backing G&R. it was so sad watching them, a shell of an AWESOME band.
