I saw that. Great movie and Rami Malek did one hell of a job.
The first time I saw him was on HBO’s The Pacific. I thought he stole the show on that series. I noticed one of the band mates was also on the Pacific. His name is Joe Mazzello, who they sort of centered on in that one.
Well, apparently DiCaprio and Lawrence described it as slapstick satire. I thought the caricature of social media was apropos. I’m not in a black/white, love/hate camp. I just thought it was a banging representation of American culture as we know it today…and as a result, quite unsettling. My hopes are that it may have the influence to jolt Americans out of their stupor and start questioning the powers that be.
Thx, I didn’t know that. I should check it out.
Fair enough assessment.
Hehe, yet ANOTHER fair point.
Hmm, it appears I have now watched someone flying garlic bread to the edge of space. Go figure …
There’s a concept called “Slow TV”, championed by Norwegian broadcaster NRK, that emphasises long, unedited, contemplative journeys.
I’ve watched a lot of Slow TV over the years, that’s why I was shocked to be unaware of the journey of garlic bread.

He always loved having completely deranged female characters.
The Birds was nothing like the movie Serendipity
They’re both about mad women chasing men who are not their partner.
I’m not watching Yellowstone…it’s a bit boring. I’m on season 1 episode 4, which I’ll rewatch because I fell asleep. I’m s little disappointed. Oh well! Waiting on season 4 of Manifest and season 15 of Heart Land.

Don’t give up on it yet. It gets better in season 2 and even better in 3.
I’m having a few hours of pondering examples for teens and pre-teens on physics.
I thought I’d share a silly, but fun, example of Carl Sagan at work.
