It is quite expensive on Amazon ($30 per season) as it isnt a Prime membership show.
I get it for free, so skip the madness: Though £2.50 for Labarinth is nuts.
Waiting for this one to hit tonight, i hope:
@Ken_O_Where I just finished watching the first episode and feel it is really well done. Kinda heavy and unsettling. It has a feel to me like " True Detective", except this one is based on a true story…which for me adds to the creepiness. This won’t be a show I will wait and binge. I think I can only handle one episode at a time.
I just read about this one this morning. If it’s anything remotely similar to True Detective Season1, then I’m in. It was highly unsettling, but so addictive.
Well I’m on a quest to find the best small town action madness and deciding whether Critters 2 or Tremors 4 gets the crown: Critters may win on the random nudity and things going boom alone - Though Tremors does have a Punt Gun.
@Lostmarbles For me, it has a similar vibe and feel. The story and characters are VERY different, but it feels very unsettling (in an entertaining way) to me.
That vibe and entertaining? Sounds good to me. I’ll give 'er a go this weekend. Thanks!
The reviews on IMDB were kinda low and the story line can be a little hurried, but I thought the three leads are great in their respective roles. Michelle Pfeiffer is outstanding as Betty Ford. I’m enjoying it.
Yesterday I decided to watch a bit of Star Wars, obviously the Despecialised editions.
It shocks me to think that there are Americans legally drinking in this world who have never known Star Wars without added CGI nonsense.
For real. Years ago i downloaded some Laser Disk rips, that’s what i watch when it is Star Wars O’Clock.
At one time or another I had every SW version that was out there. Wish I would have kept the originals before Lucas joined the darklside and f***ed it all up. I read that Topher Grace had a self edited version that was supposed to be outstanding but will never have a public screening for copyright reasons. Would love to see that.
I’d recommend hunting for the Despecialised versions, if you captain an internet gallion.
SOLO SHOT FIRST, dammit, lol.
Any context for the video?
Gives people who do not know what that is, some visuals to clarify. Interesting compare/contrast.
There are so many editions to choose from, like the Laser Disc rips @Ken_O_Where mentioned, the ongoing 35mm projects etc. I favour the latest Despecialised (I think it is the third DE version now).
