Years ago I watched a movie with my mom about an assassin. He went into an apartment building and there was a guy that had his face buried in a woman’s muff in the lobby.
That was awkward.

The new LoTR series on Amazon is pretty good so far. Only two episodes but at almost $60 million/episode it is visually stunning.

I hear you mate. It’s worse when you wait for a season to drop, watch it, wife and I both liked it, and then they cancel the next season (The Wilds). Season 2 was left on a cliff hanger and just bloody annoying we won’t know what happened next because they decided it wasn’t “popular” enough.

I will never forgive HBO for Deadwood, even the movie didnt make it better for me. The show the replaced it with was completely terrible, John in Cincinnati or some such nonsense. That right there is a big reason i dont pay for TV, unless i really like it then ill grab a bluray. Well, that and commercials, im not paying them to advertise to me, the whole point of cable TV, in the beginning, was commercial free TV.

@SessionDrummer I’ve watched the first 3 episodes and it has grabbed me. I am thoroughly impressed with the actress who plays Mae. I read that though it is fiction, there is some resemblance to a real situation. Don’t remember the particulars.
