What are you watching? 2022/23

I watched this over the weekend and I agree with you as I quite enjoyed it.
Not his best but not his worst either.

Gotta say, I am loving it after watching the first two episodes. I started reading William Gibson in the mid 80’s and think the worlds he creates are incredible. And though the movie was a bit lacking, Johnny Mnemonic is a fine short story. When I first read Neuromancer the pictures it created in my head were mind blowing. Both the cyberpunk and steampunk worlds have changed the sci-fi/fantasy genres for the better.

Just finished watching “Solace” on Prime. I’m an Anthony Hopkins fan and enjoyed this movie. If you read the trivia, it originally started out as an idea for a sequel to “Seven” (it would be have been called Ei8gt). It didn’t fly, got sold to another studio, modified and finally made. If you like creepy like “Seven” you may enjoy it.

This guy is cracker’s. This is not biblical. Revelation states you will not know the time. This is a total misrepresentation of what is stated in Revelations.

This is really interesting, about Noah’s Ark (potentially)
Worth a watch, the message near the end might not be for some

A friend of mine has a youtube channel and he was able to get permission to upload an air traffic control recording from August of this year where a retired F18 pilot, flying a private jet, spotted an “anomaly” flying above his craft. They coined a phrase for it called “racetracking” because it involves multiple crafts orbiting around in a circle. I cued it up for you.

We’re starting to like more and more shows on Acorn TV. After about 2 or 3 episodes, we didn’t stop

We’ve been watching this after a recommendation and it’s been different but enjoyable. It’s based in Wales with the cast swapping between speaking Welsh and English, thankfully with subtitles when they speak their native tongue!
Doesn’t inspire me to visit Wales.

I’ve watched the first two seasons of Wisting, a Scandinavian detective drama and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also, just finished The Calling, another cop drama. It is based on a series of books from an author I’d never heard of. I enjoyed the TV show enough that it piqued my interest and will check out the first book from the author D.A. Mishani.
