Best I can remember was Over Politics, just didn’t make things BETTER before. Now that WAS before, so I’m not going to mashup timelines, etc. I know Phil was kinda “Ehhhhhh”, and then he banned me, ROAR, BUT, then I was unbanned, and things changed, so, I’ve been here TOO long to be able to remember all the details.

Yes the time line gets muddled…there was , politics , then sexual pics in reviews , then guns , then politics , oh the Forum founder was another blow up , lmao…The great thing is we always get bck on track and move on

Politics didn’t exist at that time. It was the reason it exists now. People didn’t want to see it in multiple threads then. Now we have a place for it that’s where it belongs.

I remember that one all to well, even was threatened with an ass whoopin from a “new” forum member who didnt know that i can see IP addresses and was using a second account to make the “threat”.
And not all of us got back on track, it was a big factor in a group making the other forum whose name i cant remember right now, VCC?
I should have learned from that experience but clearly i didnt, as we can see with the flavor database thing. Some of my favorites members use the forums much less now which saddens me once again.
Okay, on to what i hate. I hate it when i have just cleaned my glasses, take a big rip off my vape and have it POP as i pull it away from my mouth and it hits my glasses…

The rules changed because things got out of hand. After the rules changed they were implemented.
If they change the traffic rules today, they’re not going around looking for people to give them a hefty fine for breaking today’s rules yesterday.
I think letting those old posts stand, also serves as a perfect example for why the rules changed.

I wouldn’t want that again. Before this forum got political, people didn’t even know about each others political preferences.
That was the best thing about it. It didn’t matter. If people had known beforehand what someone’s political preference was, they might never have talked to each other.
That’s why I really hate politics. It is divisive by nature and keeps us separated from each other.
We should be supporting each other, not fight each other over which psychopath is better than another.
None of these politicians give a flying fuck about you, me or anybody else.

You guys are right about letting the old posts stand, we can’t erase history, we can only learn from it and make sure we don’t repeat it. That is why I am so dumbfounded to see statues of our founders being knocked down, but new statues are being erected that are representing satanic worship is just fine. I am shocked to see us spending the money to rename our Military Bases and to rename our elementary schools honoring our past Prezs. I am disgusted with seeing us spending a fortune to provide welfare/housing services for illegal immigrants that entered our country illegally to begin with, but then we don’t have enough money to take care of our Ohio residents being poisoned by the train derailments and we don’t have enough money to take care of our own military homeless vets.
I feel, no…, I KNOW…, that we are still living in Orwell’s 1984 times and we seem to be implementing/repeating the same racial division again and the same censorship practices like the book burning. I see my posts gets removed or flagged, but the posts by a certain person whom reported me to begin with are still allowed to post something similarly controversial, they are just on the opposite side of the spectrum as I am. Opposition is fine, but the consistency of seeing the posts flagged for removal being applied is vastly unequal.

I was raised by a control freak. Live and let live is my motto. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
Some opinions don’t mix very well. In that case you are better off avoiding each other.

The only posts you have removed or put somewhere else are those that are political…Look at your above post where you go on a rant about the issues . Immigration , Statues , military etc etc It seems almost every post of yours lately has something to do with your political views and this is why you are being flagged. People here ( majority) dont want to hear or read it and these posts are hot topic issues tht have in the past caused divide on ELR and that is why the rule was put in place.
There is NO favortism on political post , they all are removed …Weather its about Trump Or Biden or whoever . Sattire , Memes etc gets removed , it doesnt matter if ita anti dem or anti gop tbere is NO favortism when the decision to move post is made.

It wasn’t fair to see that the person who flagged me to begin with is still posting their b.s. outside the appropriate thread. I was calling it like I see it. I have no bones to pick with you, you are a great guy. My post wasn’t directed at you, per se, just the practices that lean one way.
And I was just stating that the rules need to be applied equally.

It is directed at me …I am the one who decides what flags go through and which dont. I move political posts when i see them. So to imply that there is some unequal treatment I take offense . When something is flagged i dont just look at the post and decide . I actually go though the entire conversation and see what is what . Just the other day someone flagged a numerous amount of posts and all of them were ignored bc the flags wete petty imo.
