What do you really hate?

Omg… that’s just wrong.

I wonder if it happens everywhere or just here in the south. I really gave those poor folks at the Exxon store an earful when we had to settle for their coffee and I bought some TGLee milk to also settle for. I asked them how thay can try to pass off their fake ass vegetable oil creamer as half and half.

I am usually very nice to everyone, but things change when someome tries to tell me that coffeemate is the same as half and half. I don’t like TGLee milk either, it tastes watered down to me. They can all suck it.

Lol, that sounds like me with butter, we don’t eat partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, but if we go out to eat and ask for butter that’s what we get, funny thing is we had a waitress bring their tub of “butter” out once she said look it’s butter, I said not it’s buttery spread, then she read the label and just said oh I’m sorry I never noticed that. So I pose this question why do Americans accept fake bs in there food?

Being a coffee drinker, but the complete opposite of a coffee connoisseur, I can’t relate to you guys about that stuff. Give me something that looks like coffee grounds, some sugar, and anything that looks like creamer and I will be happy. But in keeping with the thread, I hate it for you guys…

There is a 75%chance that if I request or mention something about “real food” I will get the bovine stare. Like cow eyes. It just doesn’t click, I guess. Maybe I am picky, but I like real food. Lol

Oh, and that was not an open door for you, @Cutlass92

I don’t consider myself a coffee connoisseur, but I like my coffee black, so it has to taste good without adding stuff to it.

And thank you for your shared hatred even if you don’t relate… :joy:

I FUCKING K R!
Exactly this too!
That shit is not allowed in my home! We buy salted and unsalted BUTTER. To be used for different culinary purposes. I dont even have a jug of canola shit, stopped using that a few years ago…

I will have black coffee before I put coffeemate in it. And hell no to the diet soda. I actually will drink some regular soda if I am in a pinch, usually at work because a break isnt long enough to go to the lockers or fridges in the back… They have the “made with sugar kinds”, but not in the most convenient of places.

I know… I’m ashamed of myself. Lol I love diet coke but I limit it to special occations because I know its so horrible (this was left over from NYE). I cut all sugar out of my diet about a year ago so even real sugar soda is a no-go, gives me a crazy headache.

I have a sensitivity to the artificial sweetners. Sucralose is the worst for me. It makes my mouth itch badly and will give me hives. When someone at a restaraunt passes that off, and they have, there is hell to pay…
I will never go to that establishment again for fear of them being mad enough to add a little more something to my food.

I get migraines from it,

Went to a new restaurant by the office and got sweet tea with lunch, I knew as soon as it touched my lips it was aspertaim. It was a meeting so it couldn’t say shit just powered through to make the sale and went home to nurse the migraine, shit lit that pisses me off. If your giving me something to put in my body I have every right to know what is in it.

How can they do such a thing to precious sweet tea? When I was a kid, my mom always ordered us unsweetened tea then added the sugar, just for that reason. Then I started preferring unsweetened tea because the sugar wouldn’t dissolve anyway.
Now I like sweet tea, but when I make it, I use 2/3 cup of sugar to 1 gallon, and a little pinch of baking soda to smooth it out. Pretty good but the husband wants to add more sugar.

I hate that we’re still talking about artificial foods and sweeteners.

I hate that this can even be a topic of discussion.
