What do you really hate?

I was surprised to say the least, it was one of those places that have the smallest uniforms possible so I have a feeling that’s not the standard but that one of them made it and thinks that that fake stuff is the same thing and their is no difference.

I hate that I have to leave home to drive to work in this shitty weather. It doesn’t freeze too often in FL, but when It does, the drivers might not be aware of the danger. Only one bridge to cross as well as my fingers.
I couldn’t even imagine driving up north. I would be scared to death!

Good news guys, I got some decent coffee at my chiropractor’s office. I’m now back to my chipper, lovable self.

I’m the same way about deli meats.

When it comes to meat, I want/expect whole muscle meats. (For years -early on- I didn’t know that term. I knew the difference, but didn’t know the proper “industry category” for what to ask for until I found a person that actually knew what they were talking about and took pride in their job!)

What continues to amaze (and baffle) me over the last couple decades, is just how many people at the average deli counter don’t have a clue what whole muscle meat is, or means. :rage: It’s at least 75% minimum that don’t know. Until I explain it to them.

I don’t want your processed, nor your chopped and formed, nor your pressed, or any other hacked together leftover trimmings bullshit! Just the original animal, in original animal form.

Ah, organ meat. Hard to beat a plate of boiled turkey hearts and stomachs. I hate that I can only get turkey organs around Thanksgiving.

This is why I started hunting this year, complete oversight from start to finish, we butcher our own deer so I know every surface it touched from being alive to the freezer

A good step for better coffee is buy a cheap grinder and whole bean coffee, just fresh ground is a game changer, I hate preground coffee (hate thread lol)

IMHO that should include no freaking antibiotics and growth hormones and be grass fed. Fortunately, I have a farmer neighbor that raises his own and will sell me a quarter beef for the freezer. There is an amazing difference. Yes it costs more, but doctors, hospitals and funerals cost plenty too.

I have done that, and it is better. I’m just a lazy cheap-ass I guess, so good old Maxwell House works for my pedestrian needs.

I’ll take maxwell house over Folgers, I grew up on Folgers in the red can lol

Yeah but if I could afford that, I’d be eating lobster and crab and shrimp frequently too! lol
(agree with your point though)

Same gripe for the price of fresh vegetables etc.
