30% is not a stretch when using weaker flavours or flavours can be pushed fairly high… A Commercial e-liquid manufacturer released some recipes and one of his concentrations was at 12% alone, so if you’re being informed or taught by “pros” on the internet, take a step back and throw away that bible they’ve handed you, because it’s not gospel you’re reading. I’m not sure if you’re detecting this, but there’s a lot of egos among the DIY community, influencers and coat tail riders have run amok and are trying to use status to dictate how a person should mix. Not realizing or not caring that it tends to drive away people and that the goal of this hobby is a fun, creative and somewhat affordable hobby to get into to tailor custom e-liquids to whomever you are mixing for or yourself to KEEP YOU OF SMOKES. I was one of them, but after making countless batches of juices and them same people say “That’s too high” or “Uhhh, yeah definitely wouldn’t mix that with that, lolz, hey guys?” It’s one thing to have an opinion but it’s another to have this god complex because you have a 60 dollar logitech webcam and OBS Studio that you broadcast for 5 people on YouTube.
I had about another 2 paragraphs to rant on, but I won’t bother.
I’m actually learning that with certain hardware. Reviews can definitely be informative, especially since I’m relatively new, but I learned real quick the difference between reviews and hype. Even then, I want reviews by real people, and even then, I’m finding that I don’t always love what “ everyone else” seems to love. So basically what I’ve learned is…the one rule of vaping is……there is no one rule! And it’s exactly the same with flavors for me, I’ll read someone’s flavor notes and think to myself, “ooookkaaayyy, I’m sure YOU probably do taste that, but I definitely do NOT”. But that’s the reason there are so many flavors, not everything is going to appeal to everybody, the same reason when you go to a restaurant there’s more than one item on a menu
@SessionDrummer Great interview. Simon is so talented. Seeing him at “this age” reminds me that we are all getting older. I still remember him as a young guy from many years ago. Any band that has used him is privileged. He is skilled enough to fit his playing to the band. And that is HUGE.
I recently had to resort to using a walking cane and bought one of those standard drug store canes which I really didn’t like. My sister bought me this as an early birthday present. Love it!
