I put the kettle on for some peach herbal tea because it’s a little chilly, here in Oklahoma, right now. My ten-year-old daughter loves her some peach tea.
I let the kettle get to whistling a little longer than normal…
As expected, she comes skittering out of her bedroom and says “hey, Mom? Can you make me…”
I step aside so she can see the two cups sitting on the counter that I’m pouring into, and look over my shoulder at her, with a grin…
She says “Yay!” 
End scene.
Note: I did the extra whistle because I knew she’d do this. She played right into my hands, LOL

Knowing I too have mixed shots and juices up to last for the next 4 months, taken care of a bunch of orders, shipped out yesterday. I spent over 400 in groceries… and have 12 rolls of tp left (my boss said he would overnight me a case of tp if I needed it lmao…
