It would be interesting to see what you made. I think I remember you working on some Death Guard on Discord.

Many times I look at young people and ask myself,

“Was I that clueless or dumb or careless when I was that age? No, I don’t think so.”

Unfortunately I was that careless & clueless as a young person. I chalk those bad decisions up to lessons learned.
Funny how wisdom can be owned, But hard to give.

Yep, me too. The issue is as we age I get further away from my youth and I forget all the ways I screwed up. It’s easy to forget that we had to earn our experiential wisdom and then expect the youth to already have it. I think that one large advantage to having kids early in life is being closer in intellectual and emotional maturity levels.

Finally putting brushes down on the last of the Christmas models and keeping Mrs Squirrel happy as she deals with Covid.

Hope she recovers soon and without issue @SquirrelSmash.

Thanks mate. She had a bad night last night, though the fever has broken now and she’s just achy and sleepy. Luckily she can extend her end of term break and relax until next year. So, the holidays have begun for her - if I can convince her not to try and work.

She’s the workaholic and I’m the lazy genius, so different view on working.

Like you, in some ways I was clueless. But in other ways I can look back and see that my heart was in the right place (most of the time). However, I made many decisions that were VERY unskillful and hurt the people I cared about most (who also cared about me). As I get older, I truly realize the importance of grace and forgiveness. I’ve been forgiven by most, but struggle with self-forgiveness for some of the harm I’ve caused.

Saw this the other day. Guy says I’ll just follow you then plays rhythm and lead. Talented young man for a second job.
