With Resin yes, FDM not so much if they’re smaller but doable.

Oh we do it a lot and I use 3D printed parts myself. But, when working on miniatures from the 80s, many of us like to keep things handmade.
For example, I am currently working on a squad commission made in 1988 but I’m only missing one part. So, I will create the absent item by hand moulding a replacement from one of other models. This is still accepted as being complete, as many models from this era used this method. I’m just using renewable parts rather than casting in lead.
I hope that helps to explain one of my silly hobbies.

I know a few who use FDM for terrain pieces and I am tempted to get a few vehicle chassis and see how suitable they are for kitbashing.
I am pondering getting a personal 4k Elegoo as Mrs. Squirrel is open to the idea of being able to print off her designs too.

Not that shocking. When the wind is blowing out of the south the waves come crashing on the shore. Instead of a shop I have seen sections of Lake Shore Drive 500 feet from the lake front having 6 inches of ice on it.
