interesting. i watched a vid on it, i didn’t notice the guy trimming, maybe he didn’t notice, or it was me not noticing, lol. i’m figuring you didn’t assemble it yet = i was kinda freaked out because the ribbon is much longer, but it just folds up in there. i didn’t/don’t like that, but it is what it is.

The original ribbon cable looped as well. Just have to make sure there are no hard bends and it’ll be fine. There is plenty of room if you’re careful.

good luck with that. i had to bend mine in an S, and they were bend tight. the guys on Evolve say thats the way it is, they always do it.

my Thelema, some juice leaked out and onto the fire button. this is NOT good ! the screen is just below the button. so i wiped it off quick and layed it face down contemplating disassembly. 2 days later i thought = why don’t you vacuum out the juice ?! so i taped off the mod, fired up the shop vac, pinched the hose end and sucked it. and it worked ! i can no longer see the shiny down in the gaps.
this is not to say that none got further down in there, and/or the screen will not be damaged. but i think i got it good.
the other thing. the Centaurus. i pried off the panels, sanded em some, then buffed em on my 1hp buffer. turns out the back side looked much nicer/smoother, and much more gold flake, like they installed them backwards.
then, i went to check how they looked in the mod before fighting with the double sided tape i had taken off. and the panels fit in there snug, so i just left em.
they are shinny now, not 100% = variations in the materials. but they look pretty damned good as opposed to the flat black they were

I got them direct from evolv. At the time they were sold out but I took a chance and sent them an email and Ken from evolv told me he would check and see if there any more available. His techs put two of them together for me and I had them a week later. Their customer service has always been top-notch. If they show up OOS, send them an email and cross your fingers. You might get lucky.

hey, THANX man ! I have been buming that i only had 1 screen left and Proto doesn’t have any more. but now i just ordered 3 more.
now this will guarantee that none of my screens will go bad 
and that is great because i will then not have to replace them. then in the future i could sell these screens for a mighty profit. i should have bought more, but i really shouldn’t be buying anything.

not exactly a smile. but i got a reply from FT about my missing order. they gave it a new tracking #. says it has been in the pipeline a week = BS.
i am thinking that its lost and they sent a package and its remotely possible that i end up with 2 orders.
is what it is, as long as i get them, someday, i am good.

Had a delivery Saturday that USPS called delivered. It showed up today in the mailbox. They got so much crap in their trucks they don’t know up from down.
