This brings back some fond memories from when my mom would take a Caribbean cruise most every year back in the 90s-00s. My only ask: a bottle of habanero hot sauce from every port. The best ones didn’t have a word of English on the labels - bottles of liquid gold. These days, I’m content with El Yucateco XXX from Walmart and Dave’s Hurtin’ Habanero

Hi. Where do you live again lady?! I’ve read that some birds will stay in the warmer climates of the US, but conditions have to be pretty good.
They’re still up in Chicago, but that won’t last much longer Im sure.

What is a morning stand up call? Is that for people who work remotely from home? Never heard of such a thing.
This story reminds me of my own boss who had an issue with me being late for a pick up. I sort of had a valid reason but the point is, on a Friday afternoon heading into my weekend, he texted me and threatened my job. For cripesakes, all he had to do was tell me to be earlier starting Monday, not threaten my livelihood on Friday night. I finally realized I was dealing with a drama bitch because Monday morning and thereafter I never heard from him again.

@SessionDrummer I was looking for the link you posted for the veterans business where you got your blade. Would you mind posting it again? I’m wondering if they sell hatchets. If not, can you or anyone recommend an affordable hatchet that I’ll use for a special project I’m working on. Other than that, I don’t have a big need for a hatchet. I should tell you what I need it for. A tree fell onto another tree. It’s been there for a long time and starting to decay but I couldn’t saw all the way through with my branch saw. A hatchet will open it up more so I can get in there with the saw again. It’s about a 7" diameter, yellow pine.

Dayum, on Amazon they cannot ship the folding knife to my location! MA just passed allowance of switch blades so why not a folding knife?

I think it’s a morning check in. My agency used that during Covid when we worked from home. Then they decided it was a way to control staff and made them do it while they were in the office after Covid. Such a pain in the ass. I don’t missed working there at all!
