Oh no! That is NOT fun. I have a history of that problem due to various things. I finally have it under control but I know what you’re going through. I can’t prescribe because Idk what’s causing your issue but a doctor friend of mine recommended psyllium husk (most know it as Metamucil). She said I didn’t need more fiber, I needed more bulk. It’s also just beneficial for your system all around. Magnesium Citrate is a hand grenade…for dire circumstances only, lol. Be careful with that stuff.

Yes i have tried metamucil but hasnt worked. For some reason if it gets bulky then i just cant get it out at all like it stopped being able to expand to get it out . When i can its always soft and no thicker then a pencil. Im thinking theres some kind of external thing blocking it or my muscle stopped functioning or something because other then the issue of not being able to get it out and some backed up gas because of that i have no gut pain or anything just constant 24 7 discomfort. I also lost 100lbs since this started a year ago. Im down to like 115lbs now
Yes i try not to take citrate very often until its a emergency. Iv taken it i think 3 or 4 times in the last year, one being for the coloscopy.

Do you use a Squatty Potty? It positions your rectal canal properly for an easy exit. Have you been checked out for IBS and other GI issues?

Yes iv tried it but no position will help. Yes iv been through dozens of tests all that keep coming back clear. Multiple catscans and special mris , coloscopy , endoscopy, bloodworks stool tests etc, special antibiotics. They labeled it as ibs-c but thats not really a diagnosis. Ibs is basically a fake diagnosis or saying you have a problem that we dont know what it is .
