Similar situation. They were using the BHO process in the bathtub, no ventilation and one of them decided to light a smoke right there next to it. The weird thing is, nothing in the apartment caught fire. Everything exploded outward and the walls were moved about a 1.5 ft. The walls and ceiling were separated from almost anything they were anchored to. Nasty stuff.

TFA honeysuckle adds a nice sweetness and light floral note to strawberry.

See I keep reading “floral” is it used in the context of smell? Or is like a flower kinda notes?

There a taste that accompanies the smell. Honeysuckle has very light floral notes, jasmine is stronger and is a dedicated floral where honeysuckle can be used to add a light sweetness for example. Violet is also lighter. Some florals can be tricky, finding the point where it becomes more perfume rather than a compliment to the mix. Just another rabbit hole. Noted has a good floral video.

She’s under contract with the company to promote their use and understanding…
She actually has been known to use others, but can’t openly talk about them.

Well, FLV is actually an excellent company that’s highly respected for all they do for the vaping community. From quality of product, to customer support, to interaction with and valuing feedback from their customers…

Their flavors are like many other companies in one sense: they have their hits and misses (meaning “good and bad”), but the fact that they are able to be used at much lower percentages than most other companies gives them a very competitive edge in complex mixes (because it allows for more options for more mixers). :smiley:

Also, their flavors are frequently very true to the name on the bottle.

The interest in, and respect shown for FLV has made me smile today :grin: Further to what @Sprkslfly said above, a case could be made for FLV actually being cheaper than the other major brands. Allow me to explain…

Based on AUD pricing from my go-to flavor place here in Oz (Juice Factory), these are the figures I get after having a quick look. I’ve based these on an “average” mix of say 3.5% per flavour in a basic 3 ingredient 30ml mix. For FLV however, I’ve worked on 1% taking into account how potent they are. If you’ve seen FLV recipes on here you’ll know most times they’re around that mark, sometimes less. Looking at you @anon84779643 :star_struck: So, this is what I get per flavor:

TPA = $3.95/10mls = 0.3950/ml @ 3.5% = $0.41.
FA/CAP/INW = $4.95/10mls = 0.4950/ml @ 3.5% = $0.52.
FLV = $14.95/15mls = 0.9967/ml @ 1% = $0.30

Please note most “standard” FLV flavors here are $9.95/15mls but I’ve worked on $14.95 as the prices vary a bit with their flavors (as you all know).

Some people give the example of Alpine Strawberry being so expensive. Even Alpine Strawberry at $27.95/15mls and based on 0.30% mix average, would only cost you $0.17 in said 30ml mix.

As you can see, FLV is not that expensive after all. I think people get thrown by the higher price but the 15mls versus 10mls thing doesn’t register. Nor does the fact that they’re generally more potent meaning you need to use less. Obviously percentages used will vary and number of flavors per recipe will vary but I reckon this would be close(-ish). Not saying they have the best, far from it. There are plenty of other brands that have better tasting flavors which I still use. I’m mainly FLV but there are other brand flavors I just can’t do without. Anyways, that’s my 2c. Take from it what you will :nerd_face: Cheers.

Disclaimer: all workings above are subject to interpretation and are just a rough “guesstimate” but y’all should get the drift (hopefully).
