I’ve seen some posts on best fruit mixes, ADVs, shake-n-vape and that but I’m curious to see what favorites people have when it comes to creams. I don’t mean mixes with creams in them, I’m talkin straight cream juices!
I have always loved juices that had creams in them, as we all do, and I have always made them with a little bavarian there, sweet cream here or a bit of custard all around. It wasn’t until the last couple months that I have been making heavy cream/custard style juices and I’m official in my cream phase!
So if anyone has any recipes they would like to share or some tips and tricks, my hungry eyes would love to see what you guys come up with!
To start things off, here are a few that I recently have been playing with
I rarely mix other peoples mixes, especially when it comes to custards/creams. BUT I did mix up some Third World Custard, 4 oz the first time and 8 oz the second because TWO and i have very similar tastes.
Third World Custard
0.2% Butter (CAP)
1% Cake Batter (CAP)
2.5% French Vanilla (CAP)
1.5% Marshmallow (FA)
10% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)
I just made this on the weekend and is exactly what i shot for this is a cream with slight notes of coconut strawberries and pineapple. I love dripping this as i drip again and again to get those slight notes.
Love creams ! So glad you made this thread ! You I’m going to tout Italian cream HS
It adds such a full rounded unsweetened cream to a mix. A recent one I made is
http://tjek.nu/r/2eZZ ( must appreciate Lychee ) I have it lower it could come up a tiny bit.
And here torrone is being the cream in my zero ( taste like the candy bar to me ) http://tjek.nu/r/2ccD
I like to use atypical creams to give some girth to the recipe. Sometimes it’s overpowering and takes a months steeping to really appreciate it sometimes it’s good from the get go.
My favs are Italian cream HS , taro FE , Torrone FA
I just tested this one today and it came out pretty good! Going to let it steep a bit first and may or may not raise the peach/kiwi and possibly a little catalan to get that spun sugar taste
It’s growing on me! I’m liking it more and more throughout the day! Glad I found a use for my TFA custard, as a stand alone or higher %s it gets a little…peppery? for me. It works great in this though
I use it sparingly like I said because it is a very heavy/thick custard in comparison to my others. I just don’t know why I’m getting that peppery flavor if I go over 3%? Not sure if it is just me or the flavoring that tastes like that but it’s great around 1% or 2 tops in junction with another custard/cream
I’ve been on the fence every time I place an order on whether or not to get FA custard. I already have so many different custards and creams that I end up not getting it. I’m sure it’s wonderful but am I missing anything with this flavor? Anything that this custard has that the others do not?
I’m sure I will end up getting it eventually but if it’s just another custard like all the rest I might not.
