I just went to do a smell test on one of my juices and a droplet squirted into my eye. Wow that burned. Not as bad as shampoo though. Anyways… My banana+ peanut butter cornflakes is coming out quite alright. I wanna get a better peanut butter flavor, the LA was what I had on hand so I went with it. I feel like it’s missing something, but I’m afraid to add too many other flavors and fear of drastically changing the flavor profile of the mix. I’m thinking maybe very very low accent percentages. The peanut butter and banana flavor don’t really compete, which is nice. They sort of melded together. The flakes just does something to help unify them. Well the peanut butter flavor is not strong, It’s definitely imparted something peanut buttery in there. I like the banana on the lower side, though it is not too strong tasting it really sticks around on the coil and cotton.
When I get a better peanut butter, I want to go for the corn flake peanut butter treats type flavor. I think I’m going to need a little hint of molasses type flavor. I might give TFA brown sugar a solo test. I got it in a recipe kit and the recipe was nasty so I never used it… It smells pretty nice though. Definitely smells like brown sugar.
I wanna try something really funky… I hope there’s still enough time left for it to steep for the monthly mixing thing. Worst case I’ll enter my RB v2… I wanna try something strange though to see if it tastes good. I’m about to get a little crazy with my flavors… I’m going to do that separately but for right now…
Haven’t done something like this in a while. Doesn’t taste bad after mixing… Tastes like I vague creamyness. I’m getting the pecan coming through it all. I just curious to see how they all react.
I just got tpa pear and cap lychee, first time using them, I haven’t vape a straight fruit in awhile, mostly mix them for others, kinda been digging this one, nice change from the tobacco custards
I just couldn’t resist throwing this in my tank. I made another 10ml with slightly upped % that I’m leaving to chill. I really love the shortbread cookie flavor… I upped the sweetener and its a little better. It’s just lacking something…
And
I just remembered that this was only mixed yesterday. Which could totally explain why it’s not that great yet.
But… hours later I woke up and tasted it again. I think It’s delicious. Wth lol.
I screwed up and put double sweetener in my crunchberry juice, at first I was like oh no it’s going to be too sweet… Now my other juices don’t taste sweet enough. I’m going to have to add another touch of sweetener to them. I’m actually kind of surprised how much it accentuates the flavor. I always worry about too much sweetener burying the flavor. I’m starting to completely cut sugar out of my diet though, I think the sweet vape helps a little bit. I’m able to pass up available cookies so I’m going strong.
I’m looking for the milky type flavor that’s in SSA shortbread cookie, but stronger. The SSA shortbread just has this delicious milky note I taste. I honestly don’t even care to mix it with another flavor, I just want a stronger SSA shortbread. Can I up the flavor % past 3%, or is there something better?
I think I may also be getting flavor fatigued. That’s probably the issue. I need to make a fruit real quick so that I can take a break from the bakeries.
Okay, I’m at such a loss right now. I just added more Fuji apple to a recipe so I could taste more apple, instead it made the strawberry stronger.
Sounds interesting!!! I just finished my bottle of Phillip Roche Grand Reserve Honey Cream. Definitely a top shelf e-liquid, kind of reminded me of a top shelf Milk and Honey. A really good thick cream base with hints of golden honey.
