That looks really good, and I love FA Milk, so looking forward to trying that one out.
The NEW Ultimate Cookie Dough was just too damned good NOT to ā¦
Iām going to have to try that one @McDuckie!, I started one back in 2021 but never got back to itā¦
Oh man, now I need some DOUGH!
Yes Sir that looks good. Folkart contacted me about a week ago that Flavor Jungle is returning the CCCD one shot for sale. I guess asking nicely does get you what you want. I contacted FJ a few months ago to ask them to bring back the CCCD one shot. Iāve got a 120ml on the way.
Thank You for the reminderā¦Now i need to find my bottle that has been steeping. I didnt add chocolate bc i wanted to see how the Ultimate Cookie Dough did in a mix. Completely forgot that this was sitting. Should be perfect I mixed this on July 4
WHERE IS MY BOTTLE OF THE ABOVE RECIPE ??? I really want to try it after readin SDs review
I have notā¦I smelled and mixed , Ill eventually try it but ill usually mix a flavor with combos ive used before to see how flavor melds with others or stand up in a mixā¦I can usally gauge what pct to mix at up or down a pctā¦
i definitely want to solo it now though after reading your reviewā¦
Unless testing for a specific reason (sample sent or betas) SFT arent my priority any more. I get around to them eventually.
Then we should compare what you pick up from it when you get around to it.
At the moment I still have my free sample of the original Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough one-shot.
Label recommends 12%. How low should I go so I can make your recipe? Iāve got all the rest of the ingredients. Thanks.
Wow @TakeMeToTheSea, thatās a great question. Hmmmm, I did test that one too, but obviously as a stand alone one-shot, vs. the newer, which is a 3% specād flavor.
I donāt often try and use stand alones in mixes, so not entirely in my wheelhouse, but maybe run it at 4-5%, and remove the glamour chocolate, and see how it fares. It might take a little more depending on how it sits.
Ill mix a little sample bottle toniteā¦Just for you buddy, I am a huge fan of the Ultimate Lineā¦They do great in recipes (overall)
thats great to hearā¦I also dont use one shots as flavora with the exception of VTA LMTā¦
Sounds good to me. Iāll start with 4% & see what happens.Thank-you.

I took some inspiration from existing PB+F mixes, and added some banana because I loved to eat this as a kid. Itās flashback heaven!
Thatās interesting @IggyZ how did it turn out. Creating a convincing bread flavor has always been a tough task.
I did a bread base for PB&J not too long ago using bread (sweet) at 1.5 and fresh bread at .25%ā¦it was just enough for a convincing bread in the background. Not overpowering and not the star of the show.
Itās IMHO absolutely fantastic. Itās bread, (crunchy) peanut butter, bananas, and fluff. Nothing else. Every note comes thru exactly as intended, but I may lower the SSA PB to 0.15% on my next batch. A bit too much skin is coming thru at 0.3%, but the roasted peanut flavor is fantastic, so I think half that would be the sweet spot. The skin note is only really prevalent on the first puff, and TBH itās not bothersome at all to me, but as always, it comes down to what YOU like.
Bread flavors are not a problem anymore since SSA released Fresh Bread (Crispy Crust). Itās my go-to for anything bread related. It breathes realism into what may have not convinced you in the past. So I completely agree with Linda. Add just 0.25-0.5% to any existing bread mix that hasnāt convinced you before, and it will now.
For example, Iām an absolute sucker for Gruber Grape. But before I got FLV Starch Base, I mixed a version with the SSA FBCC at the same 0.5%, and in all honesty I like it way more than the original. I have a bottle of both the OG and my version, and the version with the substitution taste more real (to me). I feel the OG (bread) tastes more like a croissant banged by a loaf of wonder bread (if that makes any sense to you). Both versions are really good, so it comes right down to personal taste yet again.
On another completely unrelated note, I mixed up a simple fruit loops today, but wanted to try something other than lemon for the citrus boost, so I used 0.5% SSA Bakery Orange. OH MY GOD! This is such an insane flavor for fruit loops mixes. It does something absolutely magical to Cap SL fruit circles. Itās such a fantastic flavor that Iām ashamed I only recently got my hands on it.
