That sounds good to me. I was going to use it for the cherry in a whisky sour. It’s obviously not a fruit cocktail but it might work anyway. Ya think?
Sounds good to me!
i just smelled mine, its pretty strong. what % would you say to use with other flavors ?
i now have the Pyure Stevia. judging by the opening, you guys transfer it to a juice bottle ?
NF has a handle on their Cherries. The Black and Maraschino are very good. Usage between 0.50 and 2 are good starters. They’re not as potent as some of their flavors, like Ginger or Black Raspberry. Very good, non-soapy, no cough syrup
Unsolicited tips ahead:)
I made a nice CG 2 yrs ago, the NF Black Cherry worked nicely. I’d say keep your Chocolate aspect really low and let the Cherries and Ice Cream shine! The Chocolate was best very light, but present, kind of like the somewhat sparse Choco Chips in the B&J’s.
This was from before i opened my stash up, so I only had PG-free flavors. You probably have better options for the Ice Cream aspect. The Chocolates and Black Cherry were nice.
No worries I’m open to any and all tips. Thank you, Pluderdrum I was looking for Dark Chocolate in your mix and there it was. That is one I don’t have because I don’t do many choco mixes. But just thinking of Cherry Garcia, one of my favorite ice cream flavors, I might have to get it. I bought my first MF flavors at Gremlin, iirc. Where do you recommend buying them now?
I’d go direct, or see if Good Earth Beauty still stocks them, they had free shipping last i checked. I’d say River Supply, but i bought the Green Apple MF reboot there, and it is way less potent than the original, not sure if the other stock has been altered or not.
@SessionDrummer I’m vaping the Buttery Pancakes by Galactic Residue. I’ll be! Pretty darn good and a quick mix for someone who’s looking for some easy mixes right now. I might even add a wee bit of FLV Popcorn
The buttery pancakes that come from it, are uncanny.
Ageed. Do you think the Golden Butter contributes to that in some way?
I’m with you on that sentiment. “More is never enough” is what got me in trouble with some other things in my life. But now I still practice it, just on things that don’t do the harm that the old stuff did.
Well, I feel the same about the MF butterscotch I got from RS as well.
Not nearly as strong as the original.
Haven’t mustered the courage to overcome the risk factor to try the supposed replacement (that’s supposed to be identical to the original) in the other line either direct or from GEB yet.
Buttery Pancakes and I see you adding Mom’s. When I clicked on it I saw that I had already marked it on the recipe side some time ago. Vanilla Butternut at 14%? Am I going to regret this?
If you’re going for just a hint, I’d suggest 0.5-1% but if you’re going for a dominant cherry heavy flavor, 2-3% is pretty good and plays well with others. I wouldn’t push it further without trying a sft first.
You could cut that in half, and see, maybe more rational.
That’s good but be careful of those super concentrated flavors
Does anyone know of mixers who do cocktail type mixes? I thought I saw something about cocktail recipes on ELR but I can’t find them.
