Somewhat, but spoiled milk comes to mind at times.
It’s in a LOT of flavors.
It became a ‘replacement’ (a very poor alternative flavor-wise) for certain DAAP components during the paranoia phase (late 2015-2016).
It’s also the culprit for a very off-putting taste to the majority who’ve had the original flavors (in cases where they were reformulated).
Are you using this in 3% range like the flavor notes folks? Or in the more SC range? 1-2%?
I’m all ears, as I haven’t tested it past 1.25
As a single flavor, 3-4%. As a note in a mix, definitely 1-2.5% I’d say, depending on how strong you want that particular hint… you know? If you use much more than that in a mix, it is quite overpowering… it will quickly overtake the flavor profile of whatever you’re mixing…the gummy will show out first, then the peach will come running rather speedily behind it, lol.
And I’d be interested in FLV Pralines. I don’t have either at this point.
Well then, any better alternatives to this off-putting, spoiled milk flavor?
I was thinking along the lines off ass myself but didn’t want to be cheeky.
Hard to believe I haven’t tasted that in the juice. I don’t even drink milk, never liked it.
I’ve heard enough. I just skimmed through the notes and saw human vomit mentioned twice. That’s enough for me.
Avoid v2 and DX flavors for starters.
Those are the most likely to rely on BA.
Go for the v1/original where still available.
Don’t get me wrong, BA still has its place (things that legitimately need a sour note; think sour notes like in yogurt, or other ‘twangy’ flavors). But I also think there are better ways to accomplish that in most cases. (Read Woftam’s additives thread for better insight)
I hear u there sister!
Funny you say that. Instinctually, I’ve avoided all the above except for one time buying CAP VC V2 on a sale. The bottle is still sealed.
Since I was never drawn to these type candies in RL I never bothered to try such flavors but having learned the discrepancy between RL and how a flavor vapes I might be more inclined to try. When it comes to fruits I usually go for natural tasting but who’s to say these wouldn’t find a useful place in my arsenal? A little experimentation wouldn’t hurt.
@muth when I first started out, I was anti DIK, DAAP, and bought all the v2’s. As time wore on, and I learned the truth about diacetyl, especially how much MORE of it there in in cigarettes vs. vaping, I stopped buying them, and moved over to the v1’s.

Smoking vs Vaping
Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos’ study found that many of the well-known e-liquid manufacturers had high levels of diacetyl and some even being above the safety limit set by OSHA. In recent times though, many e-liquid manufacturers have removed all flavors from their production that contain diacetyl.( All VapeCraft,Inc’s juice is diacetyl free )
A second(and newer) study was also conducted by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health[²] that showed that smoking tobacco resulted in inhaling 750 times more diacetyl than vaping e-juice.
@muth I have added links to the last few recipes I posted. The links are underneath the screen shot, marked “View recipe here”.
And I’m glad you did because I’d have a hard time following your flavor reviews
Der, I see it now. Thank you for taking the veil off my eyes.
No problem, I just added the links today. They weren’t there before. I can’t read the screen shots I posted either.
This looks really good, don’t have anything from medicine flower yet. Can I replace the mf white peach with fa white peach? I don’t think Nomz or chefs offering MF
Just pulled out a steeper that I mixed 4 months ago, and damn did I hit paydirt with this one. Could I have a New favorite coffee mix?
I’ll vape it on title alone Ya might want to keep my Classic Irish Coffee in mind. Makes a good “hair of the dog”.
