If you cannot adhere to the forum’s stated direction, you are the problem. Not everyone else. I get that, and I hope everyone else does too. Those that don’t; thanks for playing. I hope people are getting a small insight into what goes on behind the scenes on a site this big. It can be really quite stressful. At the same time it is very fun and rewarding.

As long as it fits within the guidelines of how discussions generally should be, I’m fine with this. There are multiple forums for multiple topics. If you’re in the Saloon or Pub, you can probably get away with a lot and I don’t think this whole thread is about that.

There are things that each person could do. If, for example, you were to post an image that you wouldn’t let your 8-year old see in a publicly accessible thread, you could throw a spoiler-tag around it, like so: …image here… - now it doesn’t work right now, but it will, later tonight. Naturally that also works for text, if you are in need of such a thing.
As for the thread derailment, people need to learn how to create a new topic from a reply… I know you’ve heard it before, but simply click the link-icon of the post you want to reply to
then click “New topic”
The moderators split derailed topics into new topics - when we do, maybe we should leave a guide how to do it (or a link to one), in the “split topic”-message… 
EDIT: I am going to enable the spoiler-plugin later, but that means the site will be unavailable while I rebuild the forum software - so I will wait, maybe even do it in about 10 hours

I would go with or without, what if I open the spoiler thinking its a new mod and find a huge cock there?

That should have been worded differently - she should have instructed you how to start a new thread because it would be more likely that you’d get an answer 
That said, there is the thread derailment in the form of a couple of off-topic replies, and then there is the total thread takeover that will bury anything useful in a stream of off-topic nonsense It’s the latter we’re after… A few off-topic replies are not cause for concern.

It would, because the staff and software cannot catch everything. Abuse will happen. If someone wants to be an asshole and do that, they’d be escorted out most likely. And deservedly so.

Exactly.But im of the mind that if people do that henceforth then they do so with the understanding that their stuff goes away. Everyone here knows better and shouldnt expect someone else to lean their room for them.
JoJo spent time moving this stuff to a thread in the Saloon because people didnt have enough respect for her to go there and post in the first place. She could have been doing other stuff.

The 100 posts in 20 minutes of “butt” stuff – yes, not really needed, and can understand that.
