That’s some nice footage for someone who isn’t a pro. I’d only suggest ensuring that all the audio is in stereo - then you can easily earn a crust as a side-hussle as a horror movie director.
But a better job overall than people who would charge 5 grand for a couple hours.
It’s exactly what the couple wanted. Documentary style with live audio. Not sure how horror films come into this. That’s a obscure reference. Yes, I am not pro. I will not involve money in anything I do. That is the definition of pro, for profit. I’ll put the footage up against anything I see on TV in the genre of documentary/reality.
Thank you sir! I love the color science on both of those cameras, especially the Blackmagic. Fantastic skin tones after color grading. Even the drone has a micro 4/3 sensor. Pretty impressive for such a tiny camera.
Hey I just got a Mavic 2 , I havent had time to fly yet…I had a cheaper one Holystone about 179$ that my son somehow lost while flyimg when i was at work…It took off on him lmao…
Only problem with DJI here in the U.S. is our Gooberment is trying to ban them because they are made by the evil Chinese who might be using them to spy on us. Woah is me. I flew over my secret outside shitter once. Now they know.
@SmilingOgre on a tangent, for the past 6 months, any/all CCTV/Surveillance systems we spec’d out, or consulted on, for clients under government contracts, money, or grants, COULD NOT be any brand that is owned, sub’d, or operated/owned by the CCP.
Wow, hadn’t gotten that news. My focus is obviously on drones, having one. Makes sense though given the direction the gooberment is headed. Most of the bills under consideration are for gooberment use only but there are a couple of reps that proposed a global ban. Doubt it will gain traction. A couple of nobody politicians with no activity to show for the next election cycle.
I just saw this thread. I think it’s a great idea and I loved seeing everyone’s talents. My art isn’t visual so not sure I can share it here. It might be massive work (and a pita) to transfer all my recordings to mp4 files.
Edit: Oh, as it’s audio, then a brief intro for each work will help most. Personally, I rarely get involved in creating audio outside of teaching and I am more often found examining and cleaning up anomalous recordings.
