What a surprise the corruption is coming to light bet any amount of money that it won’t be widely reported in the media - lets try and change that and post it up where you can

What vapers need to do

Mark Butler is drip feeding the details of his plan to vapers. First it was to be a disposable ban, then it became clear that the Personal Importation Scheme (even with a prescription) would be banned. Now we find out that all refillable devices will be banned.

Vapers should write to your federal and state members of parliament TODAY to make your concerns known. You can do this easily and quickly on the Legalise Vaping website here.”

So if all this plays out only sealed pods will be available through a chemist using a prescription (if you can get one)?
The pods will no doubt be absolutely crap with crap flavour and disgustingly overpriced? And probably manufactured by BT.

All specialised and reputable vaping businesses will be shut down and very few actual vapers will utalise the government’s ludicrous method. Most adults will return to smoking and have to pay the massive tax involved unless they can access chop chop. I suggest the government is not going to coin as much in as they think.
If I’ve got it right then how can any halfwit think that’s a way forward for anyone other than the black market?
Vapergeddon has been spoken about many times previously but it appears it’s imminent.

If I take my thoughts a step further people will become seriously ill or worse through vaping god knows what and it’ll be said that vaping itself is the cause and how clever it was to close the gate as more people would have suffered otherwise.

I honestly find this whole situation extremely sad and completely unnecessary. Sensible and responsible regulation is THE ONLY way forward. One thing I’m glad about is that my kids are old and hopefully wise enough to avoid the street corner vendors peddling shit that are going to be absolutely everywhere.

Advert on local radio station here, bought to us by the South Australian Gooberment. Some quack called Dr Carl (morning TV show maybe??) basically said that vaping is really bad for you as it is full of carcinogens and poisons. I was waiting for him to actually say that smoking was better, but didn’t quite get there. It was however implicitly implied by the way he was talking about vaping… Just proves that being a Doctor (if he is actually a real one) doesn’t put you above selling out to big tobacco/pharma/gov. :palm_up_hand: :eggplant: (trying to do a wanker emjoi. Think we need one for things like this).

Yeah, that is a real shame @Ianc13.

A doctor, huh ??

It is often said that the exact phrase “First do no harm” (Latin: Primum non nocere) is a part of the original Hippocratic oath. Although the phrase does not appear in the AD 245 version of the oath, similar intentions are vowed by, “I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm”. The phrase primum non nocere is believed to date from the 17th century.

I remember seeing him on kids shows years ago.
Always wearing colourful shirts.
I think he’s written books on just about every subject known to mankind.
But I agree… complete wanker.

Why don’t they just change it to the Hypocritic Oath and be realistic about it…

You know what @Ianc13 I was thinking the EXACT same thing, when I was reading it. Like minds, think alike it would appear …

Medical profession is about protecting there future income from treating smokers. It’s all a business model for future generations of doctors along with protecting the income of there bosses big pharma. A cured patient is a customer lost.

It’s always been about revenue. over 25% of their revenue from cigarettes disappeared in a 2 year period from 2016 on. About the same time vaping became very popular and all the save the children rhetoric started.

Welcome to ELR @glvapes. So wait, it’s NOT for the children ??

Save the children started when Alteria was negotiating with the FDA to buy Juul. The contention was over Alteria dropping the pod that wasn’t doing well in the American market after they got approval to buy Juul. At the same time the director of FDA quit the government job and took a seat on board of directors for Phiser who sold the smoking cession drug Chantex.
