I love my country but it does not matter what the people want the government shut us down. But if the people were a company and wanted to drive farmers off the land by taking all the water that would be fine. Or to dig big holes in the ground and take the minerals out of the country thats all good too. But if I want to scrape 6 inches of soil from the ground when prospecting for gold thats nooooo.
Australia has become a nanny state. Its a very sad state of affairs for a country that was so free and open not so many years ago.
