And a Li-Po with an interesting output range.

I’m not anti-LiPo, but I do have a friend who flies RC airplanes and he had a little “fire” incident, which has/had SLIGHTLY scared me off. Perhaps that has faded, because I’m QUITE interested in this new mod.

Me too. I was actually pondering getting a Li-Po yesterday and now I’ve seen this. I think I have a winner for my next desk mod.

Think of all those JUUL’s that have caught fire, or all those tiny pods including disposables. Those are all LiPo’s. I do like that mod, but it’s a little tall for me.

Interesting only because they straight up botched it.

Yes, it will charge up to 16.8V just like 4 round cells 18650 or 2x700, but the output voltage to your coil is capped at 10V.

Or maybe you meant their other output voltage claim of 6-16.8V, nope again. It needs a minimum of 12V to fire. So the range is 12-16.8V

That definitely makes more sense for a Li-Po. 6v seemed odd.

At least it’s a Li-Po that can be changed when it’s ended its lifespan. I look after my mods well and they are all in near mint condition and the thought of a good mod becoming a fancy paperweight because the battery inside is knackered is a big no no for me.

3V per cell required. Minimium of 2 cells in series. So the mods like Paranormals, Centauras would be 6-8.4V output to your coil (fully charged and not including sag).

i was told by a very knowledgeable vaper = screw lipo’s . a fire bag, screw that.

saying that, could someone please explain to me how a 200w chip can fire to 400w ?

1600 mAh is not all that much. The old Smok Stick V8 had 3000 mAh and it only lasted me half a day at best.

The DNA was originally designed to be used with a Lipo and had more output when used that way. The DNA250C can output 400 watts when used with the appropriate Lipo battery but is limited with other battery configurations.

Here is my DNA250C with Lipo, never vaped it that high as I am not a maniac lol

I can go 2 or 3 days with that setup before having to recharge. The MAH is different with Lipo, @Woftam can explain much better than I can.

I am all in for this new SC Hadron and they should be releasing a second one that is a bit smaller and dual 21700’s

That would be 1600 X 4 cells so 6400 mAh so less runtime than 2 top quality 21700’s. Less sag on a LiPo.

2 @ 18650/21700 200 watts
3 @ 18650/21700 300 watts
4 @ 18650/21700 400 watts

This guy’s about 2mm taller than a Paranormal, and from screen front to back about 5mm smaller.

Steam Crave usually offers a combo deal for introducing new item. Their website shows that they will have a combo for this but they don’t have any price listed. There is probably details on the Steam Crave Fans Club Facebook page. They have several new mods planned.
