For the following thing:
I follow the members so I can read all the new recipes in my email. I wanted to follow all but its hella hard even trying to open alot of tabs at once. It took a few nights of only that. 60k+ accounts but its just a numbers thing all users increment in count so I just kept opening the next number with the follow command. Still toook forever.
I like the emails of new recipes, I like to see how people get to what they think is a final. I read darthvapor’s daily in my email like a blog. I like mixing. I think it feels nice to be a not followed mixer and get that first follower. It is a big deal to me still I guess cause Im new at this. But I will just keep learning and mixing and sharing my successes and failures to help those that want it over the hill at EJM.
Lars is legit. as always. DarthVapor and Amy also legit. ELR also quite legit.
CRAP! I lied I have to reply… Give me a minute I have to read
My group is not allowed to ridicule any newb. If it happens they are out no warning. I rarely take the time to warn. I don’t have time for that. I don’t participate or watch other groups unless they pop up on my timeline and it calls my attention. I focus on two groups that’s all I can handle.
Them being legit has never been in question , only you…
Please don’t take that the wrong way because that is just how I am.I design tin foil hats on Thursdays!
When I see regulations happening and someone starting a little club while following 10,000 members on here , I start to hear voices.
Just so that we are clear. My admins were not 100% in favor of a removal. You were not ban just removed. Primary reason was the numerous members that were saying they did not feel comfortable posting recipes. Senior members that you had crossed and debated with in reference to a combination that they posted. I want you to know that at the end of the day I am Loyal and I could not afford to loose them over 1 person. You seemed to be doing fine without my group. You were not asking questions any more you were not very active and the times you posted it was more of an advertisement of the new site.
About the Admin chat that’s a cross the board on FB we cross admin and we have senior members that are main admins or creators of other groups.
In your short time you probably saw that I know almost everyone in the group. I know what they like to mix and i can recommend flavors based on their preference.
as far as your political views check your PM its my very 1rst message to you.
I think we basically have the same concerns. I agree what is the point to a paid subscription service when what you are selling is available for free.I guess a “gold reserve” recipe will be great but how can it be better than what is already out there free for the taking? The only way I see this working is if he can keep everyone from posting a recipe from now on , not going to happen but if he can make a profit with this congrats to him!
I had much rather see people devoting this energy into fighting the ones carrying out these crazy regulations that have us all by the throat.
I do appreciate you having the links to vaping advocates on your site , yes … I checked , that speaks volumes about you and your intentions.
I hope that this thread has proven that without a shadow of a doubt.None of the drama in this thread started from ELR. I do believe that ELR had a hand in making it a relatively “nice” debate and some of us even got to have a little fun with no one getting hurt!
Anytime money gets mentioned it touches some pretty high emotions , yet most have no problem donating to ELR to show some support.I am very proud of that.We really do have something special here IMO.
Regardless of whatever we think, he can and he is going to charge people for information / recipes that you and I could get for free. That’s on him, that’s what he wants to do, good luck to him but remember this…
It only takes one member to get that “private” info / recipe and share for everything to be worthless.
He would be much better off creating a vaping resource site with ads, affiliate links and some kind of donation system, those are a must to cover costs and allow growth.
@Ckemist you know how I think it looks already, a few changes and your site could be great, it could even become a real success, don’t give up but be more tactful in your approach, whether your new to DIY or have tons of experience doesn’t really matter for the most part, it does however become an issue when you use the phrase “master mixer”, maybe you rushed in, laying all your ideas, that really, are future ideas, down at once. Take time to create.
I am a proud member of your FB group. One of the few that stays strictly about DIY without drama. And it’s a family, just like here. Thank you for caring
