That’s the Donald’s way of pumping up his re-election bid…

One of the best things about the markets, is they are apolitical. They react, overreact, but the sudden surge does show confidence in the merging of governmental and private sector efforts. Working together FOR the American people. Left, right, all of us, and THAT is why I think the markets surged. Less BS and more getting things going.
I think so too…
With all the “panic buying” how on earth could they stay down?
Or even get down? It makes one wonder who is short selling…
Follow the path!
This I can agree with…
As long as they haven’t been around anyone named Monica…
Yeah, the numbers are going to look like this: https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coronavirus-act-today-or-people-will-die-f4d3d9cd99ca
Looks like I am behind the curve, haven’t been grocery shopping in 4 days and one of my daughter who works at an Aldi’s up north just told me there is no food on the shelves - going to wallyworld late tonight to pick up whatever is around - so there is food in the house
I wish people would pick up on this little fact. Bashing will do nothing to help us with this outbreak. Call an elderly neighbor, see how they are doing. Pick something up for them if need be. Check in on a family with lower income to see if they are ok with their children at home and and fluctuating work situations. Call a relative or friend who lives alone and has little opportunity to talk this out with others. There are many things you can do that serve a better purpose than bashing.
The school system where my wife teaches just shut down today and they are asking for volunteers to distribute breakfasts and lunches to children at home as many are dependant upon the school for enough food. There really are plenty of things each of us can do.
They have closed all schools, universities and they will all be educated online in our country (Denmark).
All other things will be or are shut down on monday which is the deadline day.
Only things still running is police, firemen, hospitals, doctors, supermarkets and other critical places, all other things is CLOSED.
Tomorrow 12.00 our borders will be closed and guarded by the military… In Denmark… Military, we’re not that kind of country normally.
If our restrictions are to hard, noone knows before we can seeing back on all this shit.
Many people will loose their jobs now.
But many people of our working force, is send home and will still get their pay check no matter what, because the government will support the population in most ways.
Me my self working with young children with diagnosis and criminal record and some can’t life at home because the parents can’t take care of them, some is living here instead of being in jail, i’m a social worker in a place of residence for young people. So we are still working of course.
But yesterday my boss sends me home with full pay check, until this shit will ends, because my wife have sclerosis, so she is more exposed and at risk of the Corona virus, then people who don’t have some sickness, only so I can take care of her and don’t come home from job and give her the infection.
This is the best boss I ever had… Love her now
Take care my dear fellow vapers, hope the best for you all and ur familys
State of emergency is nothing more than a vehicle that allows the district to apply for federal aid. Has nothing to do with the severity of problem.
Poifect! I read somewhere else that we touch our faces a couple 1000 Xs a day. I believe it. I catch myself doing it all the time.
Thanks for checking in BigDisplay. I’m glad you’re able to stay home and care for your wife. Nice boss Nice boss for nice people
So true. I would love to help out in those ways…if I wasn’t quarantined myself
I was just in FL and shopped at Aldi’s for the first time. Is that what your’s looks like now?
In my mind one of the most important things I am doing is simply calling my sister once a day. She is 82 and worries about everything. I have a similar propensity so we exchange stupid thoughts and end up laughing at ourselves. I consider this great therapy and harm reduction. Being highly anxious is not healthy. An extreme example of this was one ambulance run I was on. A woman was fast going into shock and I was suiting her up to distribute blood to critical areas. The woman attendant with me was calmly talking with the patient. I watched the patient reverse course and come out of shock completely. When we reached the hospital the patient was in good spirits and actually laughing with the attendant. She made a full recovery.
