2/3 rd of your pay …so technically unemployment benefits …All my employer has to do is shut down or lay us off and i get those benefits anyway …if the govt shuts things down they NEED to do more …this could have been contained better…if ita as bad as the govt is saying it will be then they Fucked up …we knew this was going to spreadand if the average joe knew it would spread rhan we know damn well our " leaders knew "

Starting tomorrow all schools, colleges and universities in my county will be closed. My agency has everyone working from home. Almost all stores are sold out of paper products, most canned and dry goods, and restocking shipments will only happen once a week with limited items, so the hoarders will be back at it again on delivery day. The hospitals will begin turning away anyone who has not been phone-triaged prior to coming in.

I agree, Mikser. It’s all in the testing. The graphs show the facts. I’ve been asked to self-quarantine due to a presumed positive contact 2nd degree of separation. On the other hand, a doctor friend of mine upon thoroughly questioning me today highly suspects that I and my family cluster on vacation could have very well contracted a covid virus and recovered. There are different strains. I’ve recovered. My 16 yr old niece recovered. Her mom and aunt are still coughing a bit but not showing further signs of worsening. I still can’t believe my ears that she said that but she’s on the front lines working at Boston Medical Center. She sees everything about this damn bug. As a sidenote, I hope the international community pressures China to shut down those nasty wet markets. They just make me sick to my stomach.

People not governments will make the final decision on this one. Governments can promise to mitigate pay losses but if people insist on doing stupid things the government economies will be over run just like the medical systems. We know what it is. We know what we need to do to best avoid exposure. Sorry folks, even government can’t fix stupid. Mobs in grocery stores; good going morons!!! Perfect exchange cells. U of Michigan cancels classes. Students pack bars. The brightest and the best are joining in the to exacerbate the problem. This outbreak is going to cost us. Either on the front end or the back end. No government magic wand will change that. We are using the wrong test. We need a stupid test and quarantine the stupid.

China initiated basically a house arrest where not one was allowed out this is what made their numbers drop significantly - they pretty much said screw the economy we need to stop this.
