Coronavirus

No worries… I have a few calls to make and really need to step back on the whole corona, until I get some limes again :stuck_out_tongue:

I firmly believe in freedom of association, which basically means i’m un-american, and actually hate freedom. But, as a side result I’ve basically already been in self-quarantine for about a decade. The only steps I had to take were to stop eating fast food and to wear gloves when getting my mail. There is a zero percent chance I can catch this virus as I simply have no possible disease vectors. Feels good.

I’ve been in several psychiatric institutions, and on the whole, the people inside are nicer and more stable than those on the outside. Except that one mute guy who kept stealing my shoes.

I think most people would end up in a psych ward after a decade of quarantine… it wouldn’t even take that long for the majority of people.

If this is a mutated H1N1 then they have a starting point for a vaccine for this one. If this is something they don’t have on the books then they’re starting from scratch. Immunizations may become available but those will have mortality rates too.

There was one in the late 70’s that the immunization had a mortality rate with it I just can’t remember what it was.

I hope the malaria cocktail works. I really do because NY is getting hammered. If it doesn’t then maybe M.A.S.H. units need to start going up in rural areas at lightning speed?

H1N1 is an influenza virus - SARS-CoV-2 is a coronavirus, so they’re different. A lot of companies have worked on SARS and MERS though, which is of the same family, so that might be useful. I heard today that even some Ebola-meds are promising, for some reason (again different virus type) …

As for the chloroquine thing - it sounds promising - they say it alleviates symptoms a bit, possibly increasing the odds of survival - but let’s cross our fingers and hope

SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes the disease called COVID-19) is not an influenza. Read of studies that found that patients who recovered from SARS had little or no immunity left at 10 years following infection, and in the case of MERS, little or no immunity at 6 months following infection. SARS-CoV-2 mutates approximately every 15 days (24 time per year). Eventually, mutations will empower the pathogen against immune system resistances (as the virus is extinguished in those who it kills, but is allowed to persist in those who remain viable host substrates). Thus, any vaccine(s) may be limited.

Another very common respiratory virus (that peaks at the same time that influenzas do each Winter) is Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). Because it does not tend to enter one’s system (beyond infecting the lungs), immunity is short-term in nature. Those infected have been shown to be able to become re-infected in as little as a month following infection - barely longer than the several weeks recovery time.

I do believe there are some that have been re-coronaized too…

Imo humans live in a world of absolute deception based upon egregious fraud that requires constant maintenance. IE: pretending human intelligence is all that exists because the recognition of the intelligence of other things would require people to realize how miserable they are. That’s just one example.

They’re content to live in a world based upon total fabrication and deceit, imagining themselves to be the center of everything, and everything else inconsequential.

They never confront problems directly and instead seek to rationalize a ‘new morality’ that justifies them foisting problems onto other people.

They exist as zoo animals swimming in disease and are content to be programmed by social conditioning every step of their existence, including what they should think, do, and even feel. In truth, they exist in complete lawlessness among themselves, with the only ‘legal jurisdiction’ handed down to them in the form of feudal institution.

Western society is a cesspool mired in ideological contradiction and outright criminality at every level. What people perceive as ‘moral and good’ are leftover constraints imposed upon them by the baby boomers, who are quite simply and obviously the dumbest and most irresponsible generation of human beings to ever live.

A virus-induced complete collapse of the system would be the healthiest thing that could happen for it. I haven’t listened to any of the youtube corona songs, but my rendition is themed after ‘Greased Lightning’, and has a lot more swearing. Lol, sorry to whomever I’ve offended.

Yes that is one article I saw… there are a few others out there too

So then, I take it that you opine that succeeding generations are “smarter” and “more responsible” ?

Sort of a “sado-nihilistic” polemic. Will you volunteer to be the very first to step off the plank, then ?

Right …

@HaabbyoPabbyo
I was thinking the Xgen personally. BTW, the remnants of the “baby boomers” are on capital hill right now… I don’t think they have a moral compass personally.

OMG!!! seriously?!?!?! And we were irresponsible?!?!? You’re suggesting the generations after the baby boomers? The generations that couldn’t live without Power Rangers, Xbox, then cell phones, right???

 :joy:  :joy:  :joy:

OK we have enough on our plate with out starting a generational war as well
