I’m not down. I am in a high risk category, middle age, no ties… I’m the perfect candidate. It makes sense to me. If It works and others do too, think about the time savings for saving others? I become a silent hero either way.

The tests, which are “serological,” meaning they identify the presence of antibodies in a person’s blood, differ considerably from the molecular testing that is currently in use under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by FDA-approved labs and drive-through testing sites. The serological tests show that a person has developed antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, which means they very likely came into contact with it (and either have it, or have already recovered from having it). The molecular tests actually detect the presence of viral DNA in the blood stream, which is a much more definitive indicator that they currently have an active infection (at least at the time the swab was taken).

) We are 60+ and after facetiming all the Singles in the Fam I’m SO thankful to have my BBBF (Bestest Bunker Buddy 4Evs). I run this little facility like a surgery center. I even quarantine my shoes after going out for a “run” (stores, USPS) …yeah I don’t actually go out and run. Right now I would qualify Joggers as Voluntary Lab Rats.
So don’t focus on being alone tooo much …hey you’ve got us [snicker]. Just stay well and don’t overthink …I mean you have to actually get exposed to get it, so take all precautions and you’ll be fine …lonely, but alive. Maybe the lesson here is we should all perhaps be a little more introspective. I remember when “Making Friends and Influencing People” was a popular Social attitude …turns out having a friend(s) might even save your life. Something that simply having an (expressed) opinion may not accomplish. Best of Luck in your state of Wellness~!

That’s true. This is a big valley. I’m shocked that out of the whole valley there arent many cases of COVID-19. I think its as large as England too. I’ve been looking for really detailed map from today - 3 days ago of the US like this:
I can’t find one though to see the progression up until like, 3 days ago.
Rural America has a better chance to not become hotspots if they follow the current guidelines. Folks tend to self-isolate perhaps a little more …even before this pandemic, but maybe more so because they don’t want neighbors learning they just made 50 gallons of Hand Sanitizer in the old tobacco barn Jokes! people.

Completely effective against:

Unfortunately It’s not as effective as UV-C against COVID or any other virus. I don’t know if they use ulta violet light in NY to sterilize with? It takes about 15 mins in a single room.
