Doug Has Questions

I’m really beginning to like the flavors too. It’s just a matter of getting the nicotine levels down at this point. Getting used to lower nic levels and not smoking is hard.

Keep at it you will get there keep up the good work Doug

Im hoping I am down to 9mg of nic… gonna drop to 6 on my next batch. It’s the wattage on this dang tank! OMG I think even at 9mg it’s to much!

I made a batch of 6mg… I’m going to make a batch of 3mg… 6mg is to much in the king cloud beast. (ok, I have to make low watt juices and juices for the cloud beast models. Problem is, all I have are the blazer 200 and cloud beast tanks… both are high watt…)

Falcon coils are out of stock everywhere!!! that’s soooo weird too. The Cloud Beast ones are like $5-$8 for their most expensive line too. really odd…

I suggest now is the time to learn on coils too, Doug…
Go grab a wasp rta and a rda.

here is a spot but many others sell it too…

you can use these coils for it till you can learn to wrap your own

there are others you can look thru 9or if you are on another site, just search for prebuilt coils

I think the wasp might be a poor suggestion based on his current hardware, he is vaping setups at well over 100 watts, the wasps are probably only good for 50-60 before you get bacon lips… maybe @woftam would have a suggestion for a high wattage capable rda/rta? iirc he vapes at high wattage… maybe my brain isn’t working lol I don’t go above 80 watts anymore, single battery squonk mods will break you of that habit lol

It will depend greatly on budget but if budget is not the main concern I would say the Asgard from Vapez Cloud either the 25 or the 28.

If budget was an issue I would go with a goon 1.5 clone or currently Armageddon have a close out sale on the redemption for a lazy $10 (reduced from $65). The TI version is down to $25 down from $130

If he was looking for an RDTA the Aromamizer Plus is at end of life and can be had fro around $27 (used to be about $75). The upside with the plus is it can be used as an RDA or a 5 ml, 10ml, 15ml, or 20ml tank.

I agree with @woftam get a Steam Crave Plus it is worth it.

@Tworrs have either of you tried the plus with the single coil deck? I would love to have all that capacity for a 45-50 watt coil, but based on the size of that tank it seems like it may need high power even for the single coil

@woftam… umm… I have NO IDEA what you two are talking about? RDA, DRTA… I actually vape at a wide range of wattage’s. The high wattage is so I don’t have to use 18-24mg nic juices. I can use the 6mg juices at the higher wattage’s.

I thing what @anon84779643 is suggesting is for taste testing new recipes I make.

Both RDA and RTA are rebuildable atomizers. That is, with a little wire and a little cotton, they are eternal and you don’t have to buy more resistors. They are very similar, RTA has a deposit and RDA does not have. To be filled with juice.
Here a classic RDA (rebuildable drop atomizer)

And here RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer)

@woftam, That’s exactly why I have the high wattage unit. I was vaping 18mg with the low wattage units.

No, sorry I don’t have the single coil deck for the Plus so can’t comment on it’s performance.
However I am running the mesh deck on it with VV SS 200 mesh at 45W which is what suits me, and that setup produces amazing flavour.

Interesting… I’ll have to look at the mesh deck, the only device I have that would fit the plus without overhang would be the original aegis, 45 watts is a realistic range for that mod, with the regular deck I would change my battery before I refilled my tank lol

In my opinion it is a worthwhile addition, I am running mine on an Odin, so plenty of room.

@Tworrs, @Fishaddict420, @Gus6, I think those things are so far ahead of me right now… Heck, I’m trying to learn how to mix juice.

My experience so far…:
Well, I finally have things that taste right (after 5-600mls of failures… I’ll fix them lol). As I have gotten better, I found myself looking for a mixer. Sorta like a vibration thing or stirring thing (I’m a single man… don’t go there).

Realizing I have spent way more on this than expected, I had to improvise something… so I went looking… Kitchen, no… Bedroom, no… Bathroom… Eureka!!! I found it!!! a couple of months back, I bought a new toothbrush. One of those Oral B vibrating/oscillating head ones. I got new brush heads with it too…

I let it soak in bleach for about 30 minutes. Rinse well with Vodka (really well).

I stuck the cleaned toothbrush head in and was skeptical at first. Then I looked at the bristle head as it ran. OMG was it stirring that stuff up!!! It wasn’t super fast but after about 5 minutes, you couldn’t see any part of the brush head that was in solution (cavitation bubbles).
It took over 10 minutes for it to become clear again.

I’m quite amazed with end product. It’s been 3 days now (maybe 5?) since blended. The flavor hasn’t changed a bit!!! Apricot peach!

I’m thinking about making something similar out of metal. maybe not… My cousin has a TIG welder and I’m exceptional at using it (He can’t use it. He bought it used because he wanted to learn. He sooo sucks at it! He only keeps it so I can fix stuff that needs TIG’ed). It’s a pulsar TIG with all sorts of fancy features. I can tig weld 2, 1/8th rods together and you’d hardly notice the weld.

Oh well… the adventure of all this continues…

Something like this? Can’t go wrong for $9.45 … it’s a popular tool among mixers.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E39LYO

Lots of people will tell you “Oh don’t use it, you’ll mix it with air, your nic, blah blah” but I use it and I have no complaints. It’s pretty much if you want to shake and vape though, or if you’ll vape your juice within the first couple weeks. It will affect your juice a bit in the long run but it’s pretty darned handy and it’s worth every cent!
Normal juice that gets a good steep, just shake it up and let it sit and do its thing.

So I didn’t have to. Thank you :grinning:

Hey Suomynona, how about that Bullet Pro thingy, whatever it’s called? Is that similar?

I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about but there are always several ways to reach the same goal. I’m just using this because it was recommended, got good ratings, was cheap and available. I haven’t regretted it for a minute but that doesn’t mean this tool is the perfect solution. Your bullet pro thingy may work just as well or even better
Feel free to post a link if you find it.
