graduated cylinders or syringes? My syringes keep having the markings wore off.My scale won’t arrive until March 17 (ugh). So, what to do in the meantime? Suggestions? @anon84779643, @authormichellehughes, @woftam
When I used syringes to mix I put scotch tape over my markings
That gave me an idea. Clear nail polish?
I don’t see why not
Yeah Dan did mention that
Wait a minute, why does Doug have finger nail polish !!! ???
I considered asking that, but then I thought- he may answer.
Sorry Doug, someone’s gotta take the hit here …
Because it’s cheaper than paint, works to stop small rips in fabric… It’s acrylic so if you bake it at 120 degrees while it drys it gets pretty tough.
Sometimes you have to make what works, work…
@anon70102222, @SessionDrummer, I think you can also use it as a temp clear coat on scratches on your car. It will stop a chip in your windshield from spidering… dang, I can’t think of all the uses. I also love Epoxy, silicone, Hot glue, electrical solder, blue thread lock, 3M 08581 auto door weatherstripping glue… and the list goes on lmao
@anon70102222, When I fix it… It usually stays fixed. There shouldn’t be a hit about it. I bet you’ll all remember the temp scratch clear coat or windshield patch. You know they use women’s tampons in the military to help with bullet wounds??? Or so I’ve heard.
Just kidding with you Doug.
I was wondering as well.
Sometimes I drink and don’t make sense.
Great. Another thing for me to buy.
Nah, I’m more a shaker than a mixer.
Well… the fingernail polish wiped out the markings. Ugh…
One coat quickly. Literally one stroke. then another after it dries. I should have posted my video on it. sorry.
I used thick clear packaging tape back when i did mine. prob cheaper, can use for other things and no funny looks at cash register
