Man i really screwed my head up. I created a good shortcake right off the bat but decided to keep trying and now i have like 6 good ones i cant decide which to go with
Yes, āmoistenā is definitely the word which slipped my mind when I wrote the post.
Thanks everyone for the informative responses. I raised the creams a touch, and added 2 drops of a butter, and it seems good off the shake. Now to wait a few days to see if the cake completely disappears after these additions. I really hope they didnāt. My palate is getting quite tired of SBSC, and Iām running out of ingredients to make many more of these mixes.
Apologies, I very seldom mix a bakery so my brain went the fruit route. Lol
My bakery stash is used as enhancers for yogurt, cream, and cheesecake mixes.
WF buttermilk will moisten a cake/bakery.
Could also use the secret hidden gem called FW Tres Leches itās used in a lot of old school cream cake mixes to produce a slight wet cake flavor.
You guys are giving away half my recipe lol
What can we say great minds think a like.
Dry Cake element, use Milk and Honey
Milk & ???
Keen for this one Iāll mix my 3 recipes I have now and see which one I like the most and the most accurate to the Profile, I seen this and was keen straight away, Thanks for putting on another contest
Would you use it low? I have it, but Iāve never mixed with it.
Yes dependent upon your total %. Iāve always used it around 1% or less as a coop de gras in cake recipes. Itās a good cake but itās real magic is it has a condensed milk/sweet cream vibe to it that blends really well with fruits.
So Iāve got my first 2 recipes done and Iāll be testing over the next 2 weeks to see how they go
damn just realised the submissions go till 1st september , thought it was 1st of August.Might have submitted a bit too early
I imagine that a lot of people are doing that. Donāt worry it gives everyone ample time to steep and make adjustments if needed.
I already gave in my recipe a few days ago , guess extra points for me right?right?!?
Accidental learning of flavor comboās is really a win while testing as well.
Whoo hoo have fun with the comp boys and girls!!!
