Too much % or too many flavors?
Banana can be very ā€œvociferousā€. Do you have any advice on that? Some people like to air out but I don’t want to lose flavor.

well using the cookie/graham crust as the pie shell should work … LOL I am more worried I think about the two butter pecans here with the caramel candy… sorry so stressed at the moment I’m having trouble thinking hahahha

No worries. Take care of your kids. We can talk later

kids are down my brain is not screaming… so that banana flv that I’m using I love it but it is potent I also think it can hold up in this mix without being horribly overpowering. I promise to mix this up tomorrow with all those flavors and see if the butter pecan is too much with the caramel candy.

It is very potent indeed and I’m sure you can get away with using a lot less than 1%. So far, I haven’t come across a lot of FLV flavors that fade easily so it’s difficult to bury a flavor under others even when used at low %.
The last time I used it at that strength I nearly had to dump my tank because I couldn’t get the flavor out of it anymore. I had washed it several times and vaping other strong flavors but that banana just wouldn’t go. Since then, I haven’t been able to reach for the bottle anymore… flavor overload.

I remember thinking it was a very good flavor when I first tried it… so be careful when using so much flavor in your juices.

Um, maybe I’ll use Banana Cream by LorAnn

I’ll say. When I opened my package that’s all I smelled. And I hadn’t opened the plastic bag yet.

No pressure.

Totally different flavor, but that’s just a matter of taste. If you don’t overuse the flavor, it’s actually very good.
There’s no cream in FLV Banana either.

I know, I thought about that but I do like the Lorann. BUT I did want to try the FLV. Thinking again. I think I want to try the FLV. I’ll just start VERY VERY low. Like 1 drop :grinning:

I like in your face flavor LOL

That’s how you start your sft but 1 drop might be a little too little
Just add drops to where you want it to find your limit. It’s doesn’t fade with steeping so you can easily find your range from a SNV tester. 1% isn’t like a kick in the face but I just tested it in a tank and that flavor remained in it for dozens of tanks of other flavors and that really put me off of it for a good while.

This definitely needs to steep but I’m very happy with this the way it is. The butter Pecan and Caramel candy do push that banana to the back some. That’s just off the shake and vape. Suomynona I think we may have just found the flavors that can push back… give it a try if you have them I think you might agree.

Just a question is it wrong that i try not to go over 5% Flavor total? The only time I’ve gone 12%-15% is when a oneshot recommended percentage

Do whatever works for you.

Nothings wrong in this game it’s such an individual perception in regards to taste.

But I would say it more depends on what flavour concentrates you are using that determines the total percentage in the recipe.

I mix a lot of strawberry and creams so I’ll use that as the example. If I used all Flavorah, the total % would be lucky to be around 2% but if that was a mix with TPA/CAP I would be using more than 2% just for the strawberry component of the mix and the total of 10% or more. I hope this makes sense?

But in the end you’re vaping it, so it’s not wrong!

That make sence i find the strawberry to be a bit week when using it at 3% and it fades out over time thank you

Woot! I’m so excited. Thank you for the help. Not to mention I’m over the moon that you included me in the title. I am humbly honored.
