I love my flv custard and van custard over any other company… takes less than 5 days to thick rich and creamy custard… The custard is my fav over the vanilla custard, but what else is in which recipe are you referring to?

Thank you, Smoky. Not one in particular. I was perusing recipes I could make with my flavors and Premium Custard (FA) kept popping up. Idk why because i don’t have that one but if it helps I was thinking of making a tobacco recipe.

@anon84779643 I have a friend with an actual PG allergy. Would you have any advice for him on mixing recipes that could work for him? He can tolerate a certain percentage but claims it tastes oily and nasty to him even at 5-10%.

I used to have a bad pg allergy but it’s changed over the years.
Only thing that has helped me is the ultras, Muth…
As far as this:
Make sure he washes his hands before handing anything for vaping… he could be picking up oils in skin, or other… and just because he thinks it tastes bad… is not an allergy.
flat out pg gives me hives… I dont have issues with tooth paste, shampoo etc… it’s more of a direct contact. my allergist confirmed it yrs ago for me. when I get hives in my throat, yeps its an issue. When it effects breathing, or makes one have a scratchy raw place that is visible inside your mouth and throat… swelling and or breathing conditions… when ears are “ringing”, then go max vg… sad thing is even with all the flavor advances, there are not many pure vg flavors that are good… even flv has a bit of pg in them.

Oh no, he has an allergy. His arms swelled with a red rash the first time he experienced it. I wouldn’t waste your or anyone else’s time if I didn’t confirm with him. As far as a nasty taste goes he said he only notices it at a certain percentage. I know, it sounds strange to me too. I’ll pass on what you said and about the ultras. Thank you.
ETA: I did ask him if his hands were absolutely clean before touching his wick

@anon84779643 I linked him to the Flavorah site. Big Redd only has 0.75% flavoring in it. He loves cinnamon hots so he was really psyched. The poor guy has been vaping crap probably since 2012 or before. Many times just vaping plain VG. I know he’ll soak up every word on that site. I can’t believe he never tried Flavorah or heard of ultras.

I know you ask smoky for this, but if you dont mind me butting in, plunderdrum’s wife is also allergic to pg, so he mixed without / with less pg than most people on the forum. He might have some answers for you too.

Be sure to point him towards (in alphabetical order) Flavorah (FLV), Medicine Flower (MF), and Nature’s Flavors (NF),
All of which are generally 1% or less (in usage).

All the custards are completely different @muth
Obviously you can replace any flavor with one of your choosing, just don’t expect the same result the mixer intended. One of my favorite flavor profiles are Custards so I own all except for the Legendary which honestly I just don’t need now that I’ve found my favorite Custard mix FA premium Custard, INW custard, and French Vanilla Ice Cream VTA … great egg forward custard. If you’re looking for a more American style of custard TFA Vanilla Custard II very vanilla forward and sweet. A mock custard that really tastes good is Old Skewl Custard was put out by Fresh Pies, which has no custard but mimics it and is shake and vape:
Old Skewl (Vanilla Custard S&V)
0.75% Biscuit (INAWERA)
4.00% Vanilla Ice Cream (LB)
0.50% Vanilla Pudding (Flavorah)
Flavor total: 5.25%

I picked up some biscuit a few weeks ago after switching to JF biscuit for the past year, the new inw I got tastes almost exactly like I remember it, maybe slightly less buttery but that could also be in my head

Oh no! I mixed up the Old Skewl (SnV Custard) and it smells nice but has no flavor when I vape it! What’s happening? How can this be? I copied the original recipe as written and vaped it in my ED with a flatwire (1mm x 0.2mm) coil at 0.35 ohms. I was expecting spectacular flavor.
