Flavor BAN!

Letter sent to Governor Charlie Baker. I linked him to the Leafly article on tainted carts and suggested he put his focus there. I also told him he could contact casaa.org for support…haha.

Are you kidding, I’d be happy to donate if this whole thing goes south for us here in MA. I hope this doesn’t spread too far.

We are up for filing in Dec here, by a democrat, and ban in Jan if it passes… trust me I feel everyone’s pain. I see my local b&m’s crying… and I wonder… they tripple the product and juice cost… but if they could just skim back on the retail prices, would they be crying over a lost income from bans? Everyone knows where to order gear and how to make juices… but why were they not prepared and ready, willing to work with us mixers as they “borrow” our recipes…

Disregard my rants, today is just not a good day for me. but I am more than willing to help anyone out, as long as I can still place orders.

Aha, I see that they are located just a handful of miles from me here in Washington State.

Have you communicated with them since 11:00 AM PST on Friday, September 27, 2019(?):

Always good to stay current. Hopefully, good things will be able to work out for good people !

Yes I did, 17 hours ago.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do not find any reference to the DIY market in the Governors Executive Order, it appears to pertain to the retail market specifically.

Have to try to be positive. People always find ways around a problem

Yes, we all know how to make “tobacco flavoured” recipes.

There doesn’t appear to be any prohibition of online nicotine sale. That is the big one, here and everywhere.

Sorry, but this reminded me of an expression I heard “don’t sweat the petty things, and don’t pet the sweaty things”

It strikes me that they would be even bigger fools to try and ban DIY, as that would make an immediate lie of their constant refrain, that it’s to save the children. Just saying.

hope they will not go after flavors… Amen.

I hate to wonder this, but what if the CHILDREN started DIY’ing because all of their regular sources were BANNED ?

Very true.
However the average kid is pretty lazy, and in the category of entitled, so that would reduce the numbers somewhat.
Those that decided that they would follow the DIY route, may well decide to mix their own bootleg booze, or get into the THC market which is more lucrative. The government have raised such an awareness of the money bootleg cartridges make, that that may seem more attractive to them.
You couldn’t buy the advertising the government are providing for the THC market.
Makes you wonder?

Washington Governor’s Medicine Show Press Happening (Friday, September 27, 2019) video (MP4):

The weepy beginning is touching, and for witnesses to incoherent travesties of bumbling festooned charlatans proceeding with abstruse, incoherent, and rationality-free theatrical gesticulations of political power in a “back to front” fashion in every way, questions after 27:27 are rich with irony and idiotic stunts:

And of course, the term “addiction” (with appropriate shudderings) is probably the most uttered word therein.
