I just got the redemption and a blue 24 mm apocalypse cap, which I hoped will fit….nope doesn’t fit, I will try one of my other 24 mm decks since it looks great.

I just recently found out that Squid Industries had released a v.4 of the Double Barrel Mod, and it looks GREAT. I started checking around, and wow, talk about “Can’t Find It Anywhere”. Squid’s website is down, and about EVERY place I looked, was OOS. BUT, I found ONE, in California. If you want one of these, you might want to moo, moo, mooove on it.

Element vape was the only place to get it when it first released. I thought about it for a second until I saw the price, for me it is a $60 at most mod based on my experience with the DB V2.1, V3 and Tac-21. I do still use my DB V3 from time to time but the V2.1 button has gotten junky and with limited use and no drops or abuse. The TAC-21I wound up selling to a friend for cheap since I hardly used it.
I do like that it is aluminum instead of the cheap metal used on previous versions. Still not enough to get me to spend $90 but yeah, if it ever drops to $60 or less I would like to have one.

Only place I have seen it here is $123.00 Australian. Lot of money for such a basic mod. Can spend 40% more and get a DNA mod instead…

Exactly, the chip in the previous versions must have cost $5, maybe this one $10 to $15?
I have met the owner of Squid a couple of times and he is a really nice guy. Regardless, these mods fetch a higher price for being trendy and cool, not for the quality or longevity. Before the Squid site went dark they sold replacement chips for the double barrel, not a sign of a reliable mod.

Vaperz Cloud products are usually at a premium price. Maybe 73 is usual though? I dunno, I thought maybe it might be a god deal. The ultem version is like forty bucks more so it might be real ultem?
