I remember a friend of mine in the state of LA, he would find old time wheaton bottles left over from the moonshine days near his fishing hole. He said they were worth a good buck if they were pristine.

I am washing all my new bottles and caps right now. All the bottles arrived intact, but I did get one shattered cap, LOL!

My caregiver was so kind, she dug it out for me and no, I didn’t ask her to. She couldn’t find the inner plastic part and I was wrong, it wasn’t shattered (she told me it was, but it’s not.), it is just broken off.

Yeah, well I take things personally. When someone asks me, and I HAVE used a product, and finally make the decision to RECOMMEND it, I take it personally.
Let me eat, then I’ll get pics of mine.
I can tell you that, EVERY broken bottle, and cap I’ve had were ENTIRELY all Amazon (cheap) Glass Bottle Outlet bottles. I got so sick of it, I sought out, a more professional, lab based brand, and hence the Wheatons.
I double checked (today) both of my low temp med freezers, and they are riding at about -35F to -45F and I’ve had NO Wheaton bottles complain about the cold.
