(Jill Sanborn, Assistant Director, Counterterrorism Division, Federal Bureau of Investigation,
Statement Before the House Committee on Homeland Security, Subcommittee on Intelligence
and Counterterrorism, Washington, DC, February 26, 2020):
How do you expect life to become after the pandemic?
The exact same way that life has always dealt with it. People pick up the pieces and move on. Initially it may be a bit of a struggle with the economic damages but as always, things will get better and a decade from now, people will start to forget and make the same mistakes again and again.
Unless the frequencies between pandemics increase, humans don’t have the capacity to transfer our experiences to the next generations. With the next pandemic, people will likely be in the same situation, completely unprepared.
The HA’s and Bandidos, as well as the Outlaws MC, are clubs headquartered in America. They’ve been expanding their Chapters overseas for years, so essentially what you see in Denmark will have direct ties to (and take orders from) the USA.
About HA and Bandidos Denmark, US don’t have much to say anymore, only a tiny little bit.
To many chapters in the world of both clubs, to keep an eye on.
Yes, they try to live silent and own a lots of money instead.
In the last war in (1994-1997) vs Hells Angels and Bandidos (called The Great Nordic biker war), 9 bikers were killed in Denmark and many Danes witnessed bombs and shootings on the open street, a total of 74 assassination attempts during the period. During the conflict, car bombs, machine guns, hand grenades, anti-armor rockets, small arms and assault attempts were also used in attacks on bikers in the Danish prisons.
Good luck most of them is bad shooters
Now they try to be invisible ninjas, but 3 years ago we had a war between lots of different street gangs and HA was into it also, but it was not with 2 opponents it was sometimes all against all. This took some years with many deads.
It’s weird, because Denmark is really a tiny country, but hmmm, ya strange world.
I remember some of that. HA’s and support clubs got their asses handed to them. Still, it makes a person wonder what happened to the concept of brotherhood, or if it ever even existed among those guys.
I expect to see changes in behavior and lifestyle, at least for a time. I think back to 911 and saw a great move in America in which most people pulled together helping one another. I see that same spirit all over again. What I do expect is the same thing that happened a few years after 911 where people in general turned their backs on one another and became all about themselves again, I expect nothing less in a few years. I sure do hope I’m wrong, if everyone across America and the globe could practice the attitudes I see on ELR what a wonderful world we would have.
