@ladycrooks When the time comes for physical therapy, please do it. It sucks and can be painful, but it is the best way to get strength and flexibility back. You suffered a pretty severe physical trauma and though surgery handles the “repair”, the full recovery includes physical therapy and healing. The cast from my shattered ankle came off after 8 weeks, but (not to scare you) the full recovery took 8 months after the cast came off. I wasn’t perfect with physical therapy, but was probably 90% compliant. I was only about 33 when the injury happened and 34 years later, my ankle works perfectly. Doing the physical therapy will give you the best chance at the fullest recovery possible. It is a grind, but do it !!

Yeah you need physical therapy to help build the muscles up. I did 16 weeks after the second arm surgery. I dont quit have the flexibility with my arm but its 90% there after 3 years. Even after therapy you gotta still do exercises. Just cant stop once its over

You know what sucks…my unemployment just ran out last cheque was this am. Now im going to have to go in like welfare when I was trying so hard to get a job for. The last 2 months then this happens. Ugh but you guys are right about the physical broke my tibea all the way from my foot to halfway up my leg. I really fucked my leg up.

My tibea is broken from my foot halfway up my leg. I’m basically bedridden my bf has been taking very good care of me thank God he’s patient cuz I can’t do anything rn. It’s pretty bad. I will do the physical therapy when the time comes, rn I just want it to heal. They didn’t put me in a full cast its this weird half cast that I have to have my bf wrap 3 to 5 times a day because of the swelling. It gets too tight then.too loose everyday I guess it’s not bad things theres no adjusting a cast.

Ei or crb? Cab is still an option for a lot of people, may even give you medical ei but if they don’t it’ll be social assistance which is only like 700 a month

Service Canada told me yesterday that once my 50 weeks were up that was it. But I am sure Trudeau made it 54 weeks because of the virus. I am waiting 2 to 4 weeks for a agent to call me. Which kinda fucks me. N idk about.this cab thing. Are you in the states? Or Canada?

Canada, and the CAB thing was supposed to be CRB, I heard there were extensions… As far as a 2-4 week wait that seems crazy for Edmonton, usually it’s just a phone call away to talk to rep.
